  1. Spotted Lawrence at 10:37pm turning onto Milton Road from Park Avenue. I was the unlucky car to get the red light as I was approaching and swore out at that as well.
  2. Dogzilla - Your Eyes Pretty much shaking the house at the moment. Sometimes I wonder if my Z-5500's were a little overboard for about 16m^2. Edit: Since I am in the mood to turn the speakers up, I have moved onto this now:
  3. Depends on how skillful you feel when you do it. I have gotten away with leaving the mounts as they are, so anything is possible.
  4. Mondo Rock - Come Said The Boy
  5. I was keeping track of my fuel consumption here: Aurion average fuel consumption approximation So to continue on from that: TRD Fuel Consumption (Excel Spreadsheet) - At 5313km, my total fuel used was 500.99L and my average fuel consumption was 9.43L/100km - At 9532km, my total fuel used was 909.91L and my average fuel consumption was 9.55L/100km - At 17650km, my total fuel used was 1685.71L and my average fuel consumption was 9.55L/100km - At 29083km, my total fuel used was 2837.00L and my average fuel consumption was 9.75L/100km - At 43105km, my total fuel used was 4230.59L and my average fuel consumption was 9.81L/100km - At 64746km, my total fuel used was 6378.71L and my average fuel consumption was 9.85L/100km - At 86030km, my total fuel used was 8495.35L and my average fuel consumption was 9.87L/100km This is combined 60% city, 40% highway driving. On 95% highway driving, I have managed to achieve a measured 7.1L/100km, so this car is certainly capable of decent figures. Official published figure is 10.9L/100km combined cycle.
  6. I'll be picking Chelsea up at 6pm then heading to Hoppy's.
  7. So far I've seen/heard of two people getting their hands on the TRD Aurion supercharger and not being able to do anything with it but try to sell it. If is not an economical mod to do, even for 'Soloman' who managed to score one for a little more than a grand.
  8. Don't put slimline on the rear. It looks a bit out of place. Definitely put slimline on the front though.
  9. Interesting. I am in need of some rears soon.
  10. Equivalent amount of force as popping a lid off a jar.
  11. Hey Jeff. If you are just concerned about changing the spark plugs, all you need are the spark plugs and the gaskets. 17176-31040 GASKET, AIR SUR U306 x3 $11.60 (List Price), $9.57 (Unit Price) That was back in January 2010 though.
  12. This has been covered before. A search would have answered that. Yes it will fit because there is no mechanical difference between the per-facelift Aurion and facelift model.
  13. Nah... unfortunately not. Steven gets close though. Where I needed a breaker bar on a standard 30cm socket driver to remove the 17mm bolts on the brake callipers, Steven used just the socket driver.
  14. LOL at you girls. Mind you, I don't have the man power of Steven, but I undid my struts with a 20cm long socket driver.
  15. Due to the way the sensors work, wiring another on in parallel with an existing with throw the readings out and essentially make the system useless. You will need to either set up additional parking sensors with an add-on kit and external LCD/buzzer, or sacrifice one of your existing.
  16. I reckon it would sell. I'm not a fan of the 380 design but I'm sure there are those out there that would see the value in that car. Not as a collectors item though... if I had it, I'd drive it like it's stolen. That supercharger sure would whine with an intake.
  17. Today I got myself 2 new tires since my old Maxxis MA-Z1's which were on their wear indicator decided to get a puncture despite my thoughts of milking another month out of it. I tried to get some Federal 595EVO's, but the damn size I am after is just difficult to come by due to stock levels. So I had to settle with Federal 595SS. Oh well, at least I have them all-round though and I am rather satisfied with them as they are. Just a shame because the EVO's are $219 each compared to the SS's at $199 each.
  18. The gap was never present on my Sportivo and it's not there on my TRD either. Interesting hearing about varying cases.
  19. At 2:38pm on the Gateway Motorway heading Ipswich bound I spotted a black Hilux that had seen better days: That was just the start of it too. In about 5 seconds after I passed, the smoke was densely covering the highway.
  20. Borrow the pair out of the engine bay fuse box is you don't have a pair of needle nose pliers/flat-blade.
  21. The back of the fuse box lid actually tells you what does what.
  22. To continue on from my following response, right now it has been trance, and trace only. I have been listening to every single one of Armin Van Buuren's "A State of Trance" radio-shows from the very beginning. I am currently up to episode 160'ish. Driving songs
  23. That wasn't directed at you, but at the general vibe of the thread. Sometimes you need to think of the entire thread content and not just yourself. On topic, at the end of the day, it seems apparent that it's not solely their design that is keeping Toyota in the market. At the end of the day, Toyota seem to be catering for their target market and if this is what keeps them going, they will probably continue to do what their doing. Time will tell whether this will affect their sales or not to the point where they need to re-think their design, but not everyone is after a sporty car.
  24. Just get underneath the front of your bumper with a 10mm socket and remove the splash guards. Once those are off, you'll have heaps of space to change your bulbs.
