  1. A dash mat would provide the ultimate protection but personally, they don't look all that appealing. My advice would be to use a good dash and trim care product (so many recommendations on the forum, I use Aerospace 303) and then use a sun shade for when you are parked out in the sun. Dashes aren't exactly like they used to be year and years ago. It isn't invincible to damage, but they are certainly more durable to the harsh Australian sun, so I wouldn't be panicking too much about the dash falling to pieces. I used to use a sun shade all the time, but stopped using it about a year ago when I left it in Dubbo and never got around to picking a new one up.
  2. ... and goodbye. Spammer.
  3. Sorry, but I have to do this..... LOL. Don't take it the wrong way. Personally I think this is the cause of extra raspiness. You will find that the resonator is rather effective at reducing that.
  4. Try telling that to Chelsea who has not been before.
  5. Anywhere between 15 and 25 watts RMS. The value is not a published figure. The tweeters however are known to be 17.5 watts. In other words, not really worth knowing.
  6. Mentioning Auscam Andrew reminds me that this is the weekend that I had stuff organised for. I will see how things pan out, but I should be able to make it for the evening. Going to Sexpo.
  7. Oh My G*d. I thought you disappeared. Was considering naming the possum after you cause it was turning up as often as you did.
  8. My schedule is looking free for this weekend. I'll see how this pans out. Please not Garden City though. Don't like the crowd of teens that populate that area.
  9. After just using the MA-Z1's, I personally think you should have gone for the Federal's. Should have shopped around because for the price you are paying for the Maxxis, you could gotten the Federal's.
  10. Some people are idiots. Probably related to the guy selling the LFV plates.
  11. I haven't exactly driven any high end cars in the 7 years I have been on the road that are worthy of talking about. I've driven a fair few cars though ranging from a 1986 Suzuki Swift (looked like this, nicknamed "Kermit".... the car I learnt to drive in) to my current TRD. So sadly for me, the best car I have driven myself would have to be my TRD. I was considering saying the Lotus Exige that I drove around the track for a Christmas present race experience, however I somewhat feel that the TRD is a bit above it when you take the track side of it out of the equation.
  12. Backward mechanics eh?
  13. And this is why you should ask questions at the time of the offence. Don't ask the question... then you have to wait and see what happens. We can't tell you what the officer is going to do with your information now.
  14. Surely he realised we were just taking the pi** out of him. If he really did find anything offensive, he would/should have said so. That really goes for anyone. If you feel like we are going too far, just express you feeling about it. We never intend to offend.
  15. I can't see why we aren't already. It's not like we give any negative vibe as a group at the meets.
  16. It reads values from the ECU... DashCommand at least does: GL1-OBD Reader-GoLink for iPhone | GoPoint Technology
  17. Yes, but see... I have a suspicion Hamish is actually getting some now.
  18. Spotted Steven at 5:42pm heading inbound on Lutwhche Road, Lutwyche as we were passing Fitness First. It's always the HID's that grab the attention.
  19. Oh G*d. Do want!
  20. Well there is only one variable that doesn't change then. Must be the driver.
  21. This is why I created the FAQ as one place to get started. No need to search as the answers are right in front of you. The TOCAU Aurion FAQ As for asking what looks good, only you can answer that question as we aren't the ones to decide how you should judge things.

    Rukus Owners

Brisbane Rukus population on this forum is a rather small group. My best suggestion would be to be more open and extend it to other Toyota owners. We already have an established Brisbane meet and have cruise plans for a later date: Brisbane Meetup (Every Thursday from 8:00 onwards) Brisbane Monthly Weekend Meet
  23. K&N Typhoon Short Ram Intake (Review of sorts) - Part 69-8611TS Match the part number. Also: eBay link goes to the following: K&N Typhoon Cold Air Intake 07-11 Toyota Camry 3.5L V6
  24. My recommendation would be to get either a set of KYB's which will be a direct replacement with no extra work required, or to get a set of Koni adjustable inserts and have your existing struts rebuilt. If you want to go further than that, go for a set of aftermarket coilovers.
