Thought I'd move my post here as this is where the action is:

I would really like to go, but because I am a student, I'm working in retail at the moment. As a result, I am working on all four days.

If I was to turn up, I would only be able to do Friday (meet at the loop at 8pm), and Saturday (meet at F1 at 5:30pm as I finish work at 4pm). It is such a shame that I will miss out on Sunday, cause that day seems way too fun.

If Friday, and the other half of Saturday would be fine for me to rock up for (just seems odd not being there for everything), then I will join in for that since I have nothing else to do.

On top of that, my Aurion is stock and I think I'll feel out of place among everyone else.

Mate, 2 things, firstly, who cares if it is stock? It's a Toyota isn't it? This is a National TOYOTA meet isn't it? Any Toyota will do......my Rav ain't exactly a showcar...

Secondly, turn up when you can. There is no requirement to turn up to every even/trip that is planned. We just want as many people at them with their Toyota's as we can, so if you can only do Friday & Saturday nights, then come to those....

Cool. I guess back when I was driving my 91 Camry, I've just been used to seeing all these meets with all this riced up cars. In this case however; count me in for Friday, and Saturday.

On Friday, I'll meet everyone at the loop at 8pm. I did a browse through the other thread (what a long topic that was), and just need to confirm that this is the "loop/pool" that you're all talking about.

And on Saturday, should I meet at the F1 at 5:30pm?

What if you're a new member (heard about this through AusCam) with a car that's beat up on one side, and has cooked-on egg on the other....and can't afford to fix it cuz your missus is having a bub in a month and a half and you're paying off a mortgage? :P Still welcome..?

Wouldn't be able to be at all of it and I'm s'posed to be working that weekend (on call for Qld Dept Main Roads - pick up stuff off the motorways, joyful!!) but I'm in for bits and pieces if I can get off work...

Quick update guys.....

Firstly, Hooters is secured and booked for 7:30pm on the Saturday night....

Secondly, I have arranged for drinks to be sold at both the Show N Shine on Saturday afternoon, then also the Cruise on Sunday (depending how long supplies last). There will be Mt Franklin, Coke, Sprite & Fanta....

Damn I am looking forward to this.....
