Just took these pictures of the 1st 2 Venza's at my dealer. It's pretty much a Camry wagon. :)

Maybe its a little hint to what the facelift for the Camry might be too.

Thats exactly how I described it to a friend. A mini Lexus RX350. Looks a lot better in person then it does in photo's. In January it will also have a 2.7L I4 engine, which I am almost poitive the Gen 6.5 Camry will have. Also mated to a 6-speed Auto.

This won't make it to Aus.

The US market has a fascination with chrome, hence the grill and 20" wheels. There is also many more million soccer moms there that want to sit up a bit higher on the road, and fit the whole family.

Introducing this here would put it in direct competition with Avensis or the Kluger.

Would do wonders as a gap filler for the Camry Wagon/ Avensis Verso in 2.7 4cyl 2WD guise (Seeing that the Kluger/ Highlander in Australia is V6 only.).

Will probably get my dad to consider a Venza AWD or the recently unveiled (LA Auto Show) 2010 Lexus RX450h if he gets posted to Canada.

Looks like the 4 cylinder model will get 19 inch wheels, and for 2010, lower ground clearance (Most likely for the 2WD models only.).

Its JDM counterpart, the Mark X Zio (Well, they're not the same cars, but are both similarly-sized crossovers.) have 16 inch wheels for the base & mid range grades and 18 inch wheels for the top spec grades.

Here are two customized Venzas made for the SEMA show.

The dash layout, buttons and overall look is very similar to the current model Kluger we have here...

The Kluger is the USDM Highlander since 2000. Also based on Camry platform.

The Venza is almost the same size as the Camry/Aurion. The biggest exception being the height (much higher ground clerrence). The length and with are almost identicle. The interior is actually really similiar to the Lexus RX/Toyota Harrier
