Very nice choice.

Seems like a great deal, since it has such a low mileage and being only 1 owner.

So how much did you pay for it, if you don't mine i ask.

Also, welcome!!

haha.

Is it just a matter of opening it all up and changing the bulbs? how about the lcd screen of the climate control and the clock etc?

In the old ae92 was simply a matter of just replacing t10 and t5 wedge bulbs or adding coloured sleves over them. Any links or DIY would be appreciated!

Car goes in tomorrow for some Tein goodness :P

  • 2 weeks later...

Well bit if an update. Sort of.

Wholesale Suspension Penrith claimed they had the springs I wanted but than decided they didnt apon drop off the next morning. *sigh*

Car still sits 4x4. lol

Thinking maybe hunting down a 2nd hand pair, bloke on here selling the superwagon Tein springs hmmmm :)

Early into the next year shall start collecting Audio gear. Craveing the sound I had in my old car.

Also on the to do list -

- straight thin custom eyelids

- blacked out headlights

- red dash mod

- Philips clear Headlight, parkers and fog globes

- fix what sounds like an exhaust leak? or the awesome sound of the stock muffler lol

- trd oil filter + HPR 0

- plugs and leads

- CAI - still deciding which one? theres a few out there for the 2zz just discovered. hmmm

That be bout it.

The Teins I don't think are springs. They are coilovers so yeah if you have dosh for it, splurge

C-One make the eyelids you are thinking of, but they are quite pricey..

As much as I loved the HPR0 oil it got dirty pretty quickly. Dirty as in 6000kms. Also abit thin for summer too..

Now as for CAI, get whichever one comes up for sale for cheap :)

Teins do make springs for the sportivo. Bloke on here has them and can purchase them new from me local

suspension joint though quite pricey. Still researching kings vs Teins.

Cheers for the advice dude. champ.

-Just use Toyota oil filters, you're not going to gain anything by using TRD.

-Just keep using the standard plugs, can't really go above iridium. No leads as they are coil-over-plug setup.

-Any CAI that is 2.75" will be fine; buy based on price.
