Looks s**t hot Ash, i always feel like my d1cks 1inch long when one of these things pulls up beside me @ the lights. They are Street Beasts.

You owned the TRD which is already miles faster then the stocker like mine, how much faster is the ford over trd you recon?

I'm really tiering of the sportivo i feel like im driving miss daisy in the granny mobile. Like you i want somthing with street cred somthing that can actually be hotted up more.

Have been seriously thinking of one of these or the SS v8. Being over 6ft i much much pref the seating pos on the fords i must say.

How much faster? Dunno to be honest, but it feels a sh!t load faster.

Put it this way. Daryl's TRD (sorry for using you as a comparison Daryl) does a 13.3sec 1/4mile. This is the fastest I've ever heard of one going down the 1/4mile.

Stock xr6t's do high 12s down the 1/4mile.

I think the TRD would own it around corners though.

Do I miss my TRD? Ummm, not really to be honest.

As childish as this sounds, one of the reasons I changed was because I raced a G6ET one day and got really embarrassed. Lol

So I went looking for the F6 or the R8, but after driving the F6, the HSV didn't drive as nicely. So I went to buy an f6 and the sales guy talked me in to the xr6t. Lol

The 'bolt on' mods available (another reason for selling the TRD) for this car is amazing. For everything you want to do, there are at least two options for you.

Spend 10k and walk away with 360-400kw at the wheels. Crazy!

Edit: I thought I'd just add that, yes, the build quality probably isn't the best, but comparing the amount of times my TRD was in the workshop and how many times this has been in there, it's about even.

Oh, and a side note... Massive LOL at my iPad changing HSV to to HIV automatically!!! Hahahaha

so here are the results from the night...

1 => 13.308 @ 172.04

2 => 13.369 @ 170.73

3 => 14.034 @ 165.67 (massive ***** up the whole way down the strip! haha)

4 => 13.528 @ 171.81

5 => 13.574 @ 170.82

6 => 13.350 @ 172.56

7 => 13.221 @ 171.23

pretty consistently ****... :lol:

my mate took video of my 13.308 run, but left before i did my 13.221. funnily enough (apart from the start), the 13.350 run felt the fastest!

Hey mate,

hope your well! Did you end up sorting out all the issues you ahd with the XR6T. Ford could never work out (and never really gave a flying ....) about sorting out the issues i had with mine.

problems? umm, i suppose its all been fixed to a certain level of "fixing"...

still a couple of annoying things, but nothing major and are probably caused by me... :lol:

lol certain level of fixing? lol so the best they could do then or be bothered doing lol? well it's good to see your now enjoying the 6T these days and not cursing it :)

well i said "certain level of fixing" cause they fixed some of the things but the other things they need me to go back with it actually stuffs up..

its never happened again at a suitable time to drop in to them... lol

the bearings in the turbo were on the way out. so i took the opportunity to upgrade to an FG F6 turbo, high flowed injectors and got it tuned.

its now sitting at 300.6rwkw.

VERY VERY stoked with the result and the car is completely different.

i have a child-like grin on my face from ear to ear every time i put my foot down. :D :D :D
