Thank you all for the awesome photos, great attitude and Andy for organising such a great route.

After being in hibernation due to winter.. There was no better way to start cruising again, and with the first car club I joined.

Keep up the good work guys and keep the Melbourne scene strong!!

I believe we owe you a cruise your way. TBH, I reckon just a meet or maybe a BBQ at some park; somewhere we can all chat and take scenic photos will suffice. Doesn't always have to be a spirited drive. :)

Now that is a brilliant idea!! How about a December TOCAU X-mas Meet & BBQ up this way??? Leaving the way clear for Go Karts in November (cool!) and possibly someone else can organise something for October?

Stickers is a great idea Andy, had a few people ask me on the weekend about the rounded/oval one I've got on my rear window but I know we don't make them anymore. I wouldn't mind some form of URL sticker but the last one was a bit plain for me, didn't think it really worked with my bigger Racing Development TRD sticker - vanity queen that I am!!

Hoping to have the go kart event here in melbourne for the christmas break up. Dwee can hook us up here in melbourne for that time of year withh a great group discount. Just think that it would be better for the numbers for aachristmas even to be in Melbourne.... hope thats cool with you?

Hey - yep that's cool, probably works out better anyway as I might be moving around that time too. Plus I'm still hunting for ideas/locations up here too :)

Good stuff Alex,yeah I've seen the car but didn't know you had rims for it yet.You did have the best Sportivo so iam not surprised you would treat the Evo with same goodness :D

I will try to get a group discount. But this depends on the amount of people confirmed. :spiteful:

There will around 18ish people on the track, so depending on the amount of people confirmed determines whether we do a single or double booking.

Will definitely be hard to organise for sure.

      FUEL WARNING MESSAGE

      On my 2002 Prado, the fuel transfer pump has a fuel filter which can block, causing increasingly less fuel transfer between the tanks. It may be the same for the Cruiser too. I have not yet had an issue with mine even at 250000km, but that is low mileage for a 2002 Prado. I hope that you have a filter that can be easily replaced. It could save you a pump replacement.

      2002 Hilux Engine Replacement

      Unless you can identify which engine your Hilux has now, you may be better off finding a good 5LE engine and return it to stock. Nice to have a Turbo diesel though. Have you tried taking a photo of the engine and posting it so others can advise what engine you have. It may be better to have your engine overhauled. If you can locate the engine number (should be on the registration papers if the engine swap was done legit), you might be able to ID the engine that way too. Do you know why the engine seized? It may be possible to overhaul your engine cheaper than replacing it.

      Transmission clunk

      Hi all, Recently completed a long drive. Check engine light came on, traction control off light came on, unable to use cruise control. Pulled immediately over all oil level were good and no leaks. then when accelerating through the gears ( automatic Prado ) hearing and feeling a clunk on each gear ( like it was hard to select). Prado is unable to go into 5th & 6th gear. Maxed out in 4th gear at 90km/h @ 2500rpm. Later in the drive DPF light came on though I have a July 2015 build. DPF introduced in October 2015 that I am aware off. Any ideas at all would be grateful!

      Yaris Cross roof rack

      Hi all, I’m looking at purchasing a Yaris Cross GXL however I can’t seem to find any official roof rack for the car On the Toyota website it doesn’t show a roof rack protruding like the Corolla Cross GXL I know you can get roof racks that slide under the door however I don’t see any official listing Interestingly enough Toyota offer an official bike rack for the Yaris, Corolla hatch etc but not the Yaris Cross Rhino-Rack offer a third party roof rack for the “TOYOTA Yaris Cross Gen1 5dr SUV Bare Roof” but I’m a bit hesitant to use a 3rd party roof rack on a brand new car. Do you know if this would cause any warranty issues etc? Another option would be to get a Corolla Cross GXL. However the Yaris Cross would be perfect if it could have a roof rack as I don’t need the extra size, engine and price point of the Corolla Cross. Happy to hear your thoughts

      FUEL WARNING MESSAGE

      I've just got a price from Toyota up here in QLD for the whole replacement unit... (OUCH!!!! 😭) I would share more information on my investigation so far, but apparently, I am a spam bot and can upload pictures, but not write the story to go with it.... without being pulled up for it...... I can tell you that I am getting no suction on what I believe is the fuel line from the sub to main tank. I am however getting 13v on the fuel pump connection. It comes on for a moment before going off. I'm guessing because of this error. Perhaps the rail stops delivering power..... My next step is to apply 12v to the pump and see if I can hear it in the tank making any noise. Surely, I'd be able to hear something with the car not running - if it is working?

      Hilux 2.7 1998 has knock in motor

      A recently purchased 2.7 hilux seemed okay, but when started up (warm) a clunk happened then a loud knock started. The coolant drained out, perhaps into the engine, but being unfamiliar with the vehicle I am unsure what has happened. Any suggestions and possible remedies would be appreciated. Higgyboys

      2017 Kluger AWD. Noise in Cabin - Bearing/Diff. Not Sure.

      Chiming in from the States here, I have a question. I am assuming your Kluger's have the same UA80 transmission as we do? When you say the transfer case was replaced, was it the physical "transfer case" or the transmission? We have similar issues here where the UA80 starts "whining" needing a complete transmission replacement.
