LOL man vinh.. my car is still like 5 months new.. and you're telling me not to care about scraping my stock front lip LOLLLL.

Posted

Scraping up your lip is an easy fix. Bog/sand/paint. I've done it before with pretty decent results. Looks much better than having a ripped up piece of plastic dangling from your front bar.

lollll. well, let's hope the end result of the coils is worth it in the end :)

Worth it? How can these words be coming out of your mouth? Coilovers are ALWAYS worth it!

Lolllll. I know it'll be worth it.. but just didn't think I'd fork this out so soon. :S

Posted

you will learn young grasshopper... stock lip is like training wheels :)

this

Angle entry/exit is your friend

and this

low is a lifestyle brother! Cant wait to see the results

lol let's hope this lifestyle doesn't result in bumper/underbody/muffler scrapage.

just wondering how low I should go, considering I'm only on 17's

1 finger space in between the guards imo, :P

but its totally up to you, and how steep your apartment carpark ramps are,

thing is there, is that the springs will settle and sag so if i go 1 finger initially i'll end up rubbing guards and most likely bottom out.

anyone else on 17's have suggestions for initial setting?

lol I'm asking everyone opinion because jay and tom were both suggesting I go 2.5 finger initially and let it settle/sag to 2 cos I may bottom out underneath the car - jay mentioned that tom bottomed out @ Doncaster before lol so I'm scared to go to 1 finger all around.

You never see the bottom of your front lip anyway, it's inevitable that its gonna get scratched even at normal height. Coilovers > lower it abit > 2 months pass and you will want to go lower anyway :P
