And illegal.

That is so cool. So very cool. I really want one.

The Aurion isn't a racecar and this is one of the dumbest "mods" I've seen in a while.

If you are going to "hoon", this is by far the pussiest way to do it.

Perfect for motor bike couriers! Years and years ago I did a mod to mates bike using an old choke cable from a holden and a door hinge to a rear plate, you can picture the idea . The only prob with this is I always be thinking...... I hope that just worked !!!!

burglar proof plates? (check one of the pictures with instruction booklet) if i was the burglar trying to steal the plates i wouldn't just try to take the plate, i'd rip the whole thing off and run with it. quicker and easier. and if they are lucky i'll take the rear/front bar off too :)

Dumb is 9 pts in 4 months because of speed cameras.... If I don't remember to slow down I won't remember to hit the button.

Automate it with a radar detector!

Radar detectors would work as they can pick it up before line-of-sight occurs. LIDAR/laser on the other hand, is invisible to detectors up until the instant you're painted.

Ahh ok. i knew the latter wouldn't work and assumed it was te same for the former. whoops!

*snatches back vaseline offering*

The Vaseline still applies Andrew. Let's say for some strange reason a cop was using a hand held radar. Your plates shield themselves then you pass the cops. Hidden plates... sure they will just ignore you.

So in summary:

Using these plates as a hoon is an unintelligent idea, no matter what. Regardless if you get caught or not.

Are you suggesting hoons who don't use these plates are intelligent?

More intelligent than those who do!

I wouldn't say more intelligent, just less unintelligent....
