Having only had my Sportivo 2 weeks (exactly 14 days) I've already done 2000km.

At this rate my car will be hitting 150,000km in 3 years which, I'd assume, is nearing the end of the cars life expectancy, especially with such a high reving motor.

How do you guys treasure your cars? Does it sit in the garage waiting to be driven or do you drive it an awfully high amount as I do?

How many KM has your car done and in how long?

I love my car but I'm starting to get worried about resale and mechanical issues now :(

I don't get to drive my car as often as I normally would because I regularly get company cars for evaluation.

It's good regarding petrol, but bad because I love driving my own car.

Just hit 8000 km since April 2005 (that's 10 months yeah?).

thats not too bad ..

if im not wrong most average users will do 15-20 thousand k's a year

i bought mine brand new decmeber 2005 and iv done 7000km's already...

i drive it to work and back every day... and engage lift daily(how could you not)

but i was under the impression the car could handle that.... and a high revving engine would be designed to handle high revving....

i have a 6 yr toyota warranty on mine so im not that concerned at the moment....

resale could be another issue though!!!

Yeah they asked me about the 6yr/200,000km, I laughed. Ill most probably hit 150,000 before 3 years.

Haha, the pains of living that far out of the city. I'm a little closer but I still drive 120-150 a day, i work in north ryde.

Still, lift does make it a fun 1.5 hours to and from work everyday... when I get a break in traffic that is :P

March 2003 Levin 63,000 still drives like new.

I feel with toyotas, change the oil every 5 - 10 thousand and it will just keep on going. Befor ethi si had a 91 Camry and i had 390,000 on the original engine. I think the guy i sold it too still drives it around.

Good thing about the 1zz as well is, in next few year there will be millions of 1zz rollas in the wreckers as there are so many on the road.

New 8/2003 28900k's and the most distance it's been from Brissie is Coolangatta. Use the Camry for longer trips (it's been to Noosa) - sorry I lie it's been to Bundagerg once
