this wont be a detuned version (performance wise) but it may be missing the sat nav and HID's but who cares. the performance stuff will be the same which is all that matters, but the claimed 6.6 sec 0-100 is a bit sceptical and the only reason the DC5R's were detuned was because at the time of importation Aus didnt have fuel which had high enough octane so they had no choice but to detune

now its a different story, and the word is these will be circa $40k

Had a look at this beast in the flesh today at the Melb Auto Show. It looked great IMO. Would have prefered to see a black one though, but great none the less.

I like this shape. I think it looks totally different from anything out there. Interior is nice too. I like it... alot!

I'd still rather buy a DC5S, it is soooooooo so so much better looking and for the same price? where is the comparison. I dare say even the sportivo is sexier lol. Yep i said it. The EP3 on the other hand, well thats a different story ;)

And in that price bracket there is the Renault Megane RS F1, WRX, GTI, XR5, MPS3, Clio sport 197, Supercharged Stivo with hotness sussy mods; anyone?.

i too think dc5s looks better, i always like coupe better than anything else, but for a hatch i reckon it looks good, very modern love those exhaust pipes, and i reckon it will keep its value too specially when theres a red k20 in it
