Just for those out there who are curious how much a ZRE can drink.. It's only been less than 4,000kms since the last service, but decided to change the oil since I did a track day shortly after the last service and I'm about to drive to Qld for the annual meet. :) And thank goodness it was changed; oil was darker than all pervious servicing I done at 10,000kms! Then clay'd and polished the car. I guess I did something right. By I, I mean Vinh, Johnny and I. :P P.s. (I wish!)

Hey Pete, yeah looks like those things you mentioned, bonnet, lights and front bar. But first thing comes to mind, are the bolts for the front bar to the chassis the same? And also, the front side panels - not sure if the lights cutout on the side panels are the same? If you need a hand, let me know. :)

Plytme, that cusco rear sway fits both hatch and sedan; they share the same chassis. :) This rear sway apparently also fits onto the Rukus and Prius. The rear sway would help with handling and makes the car feel more flat around corners. Check the ZRE FAQ (in Corolla section), has all the links to parts and previous threads. :) Peter.

I suggest go 4.3k or 6k max. You can go more blue but you'll be blind as a bat in bad weather conditions.

What Johnnie is saying is correct. Power is not everything; even if you have power, you still got to have a good suspension and brake setup. TBH, if I wanted power, I would have bought a different car but end of the day, that's not why we made that decision. I can go on forever so I'll keep it at that. Going to Winton confirmed this. It's not the fastest car (obviously) but putting some work into suspension and some decent practice, and she goes decent! Also, remember that even comparing cars of the same car model on the same dyno or the same car on different dynos can yield different results.
