  1. Hey lads, Just thought I’d give you guys a bit of a heads up. No biggie Toyota is just fixing an issue i know all of you have had dramas with and go frustrated with. They have come up with a fix for how awkward and difficult the centre wheel cap ornaments are to get off the 19in wheels on the car which we all know often ends in damage so there's a fix for that (has new design rings and a special tool to get them off with) and also TRD all 623 of them are now included in the VVT-i oil hose campaign of course it's a different part because the TRD setup is slightly different (90445-8Y002) so expect a letter in the near future but as we know from N/A 2GR's this is a no biggie fix so don’t stress when you get the letter. Cheers
  2. Aww put her on demo then? keen to see it go haha. we loaded ours onto out truck today and sent it to our other dealership abit further alogn the NW coast, see if they can make it move.. yeah interior is nice, don't mind it at all, enjoy the car whilst it's around fella :)
  3. lol :P hopfully will get to see it even earlier in Japan :P
  4. hard to say, each car can be a little different depending on your suspension, wheel selection, how low you go and what you carry in the car etc. i found when i did my suspension there was a bit of camber going on which would of eaten the inner edge of the tyre far more than the rest( not quite commodore camber bad though) simple pin soon brought that dead straight again which also helped the rear of the car turn better at the corners. a camber pin in the long run is going to be cheaper than any premature tyre wear and replacement isn’t it?
  5. ahuh cheers for that :) those 17's look quite nice on the Hybrid, a nice clean design like that in say 18's would do the trick i think. Also new Hybrid will go on sale around fen/march next year just thought you might liek to know. :)
  6. Camber pins sure are a great idea. When i switched my Sportivo to TRD Shocks and springs from America i put a chamber pin in the rear to pull the rear wheels dead straight again. This of course made the tyre wear very even (in fact at my last service a few weeks ago they measured each tyre on the inner and outer edges and there was the same on each wheel)& when i put the coil over’s in i put one in the front too just so could have a bit more freedom with adjustments etc, so yeah if you’re going to lower your car i think it’s a worthwhile thing to do :)
  7. oh no! had a blast down a back road in the new AWD VW Golf R DSG and just wow! ive had dreams about it since :-/

It's a sexy sexy thing and god damm does it stick to the road!

  8. I have teamed them up with a Remsa brand brake pad available from GSL Rallysport for $105 per front set. The decision to choose this over what I was originally planning (QFM HP-X) is due to the following reply I got from Gred at GSL: After initial high speed bedding-in, the pads sure do feel like they would perform better than the HP-X pads. At the early stages of bedding-in, these Remsa pads are already feeling like they are providing equivalent ability to the EBC Redstuff I was previously using... and there is still more room for them to bed-in completely. I reckon these will end up being quite a good pad. They also have quite some bite when cold so overall, I'm quite satisfied. Wow that looks amazing, must be very happy with those!, what did it cost you in the end? And yeah you'll be quite happy with Remsa, great pad, great technology and even better great price!
  9. Also in addition to those features mentioned above SX6 over At-X also scores: Full size Alloy spare wheel, unbody aerodynamic wings and skirts, chassic bracing, rear spoiler and bodykit including sports grill and tinted headlamps and tale lights, premium steering wheel and gear shifter, 6 stacker, alloy sports pedals and sportivo scuff plates and fog lamps. SX6 to ZR6: Front and rear parking/clearence sensors, front 4way and 6way electric seats and yeah thats all i can think off at the moment. Bigger difference with series two though. gets things like exterior heated mirrors with memory with auto tilt and auto tilting rear vision mirror, rain sensing wipers and also gets the power shade so series two owners get a car that pretty well packed with fruit!
  10. Who wants to buy a Camry ;p Hybrids Starting from $34,990 D/Away!!

  11. Kumho really are a fantastic value for money tyre these days, KU19's and 30's have fantasic performance for the coin!
  12. Yeah Kits are available; just have to be in the know. As some of you may know i also work in the music industry as a Lighting Designer and pretty much all the top branded intelligent lighting fixture manufactures all use either Phillips or Osram lamps (this is why these two make the best, the have the most experience) so anyway i spoke to our Phillips rep and he was able to organise the suckers for me. Phillips Patended is the next best thing but quality still isnt quite there but still better than Tungston Halogens :)
  13. haha yerp a 2011 Camry Sportivo manual in Wildfire, looks good sitting bewteen the Aurion White and a Grande Kluger. but weve only had a couple of People tick the manual box since release in 2006. uses more fuel than the 5Sp Auto too lol.. so yeah i expect it to be here a few months.
  14. Best place to get Phillips is direct from Phillips or big brand auto stores like auto barn. there are genuine sets on eBay but you need to make sure it has Phillips signature HID if you look at the "globe" there difference and you can tell a fake from a real Phillips in seconds. Also there is packages that use Phillips "patented design" but there still not genuine Phillips just using there basic design and concept which is good and better than the cheap kits but still not quite as good as the proper Phillips. if you have some Phillips that you may think are fake you can check it out much in the same way we can with our ultra racing products by putting the serial in this website here. http://www.apr.lighting.philips.com/burner/Template%20B1.htm
  15. The rotors you need for the front to match the current callipers on the TRD need to have the following specs: A: Diameter: 325mm B: Height: 46mm C: Thickness: 32mm E: Centre Hole: 62mm F/G: PCD: 5 x 114.3 That's about all I can help you with really. I already have new rotors just about ready to be fitted. Just waiting for the re-drilling and the hub ring to be completed. RDA FTW! mmm SEX rated they are :P
  16. Hey Guys, Just looking for a few pics of either L1 or L2 Hybrid Camry that has some larger aftermarket or even Kappa wheels on it? has any HSD owner being Adventurous yet? oh and also FYI Hybrid Camry can now be your's for as little as $34,990 Drive away! :)
  17. It wouldn't differ enough from the Presara if it had a sat nav... That's just my opinion as to why it wasn't done. Price drop, I'd let mine go for $46k. ;) yeah that's true if it did have Sat nav then this would be a much better buy than Presara $$ wise, still it would help it move a little quicker if it had either sat nav or at least Smart Start/Entry. I'm trying to steer clear of comparing this car to other Aurion’s and showing them ZR6 or Presara, being burnt with "so i could get a ZR6 with more features for less coin" twice now so trying to steer people clear of the rest of the range might help BUT people to seem to wm quite a lot to the words limited edition only 250 made with only two making the trip over bass strait. We’ve taken bets as to which two cars in the showroom will be around longer, the white knight or a Camry Sportivo manual lol time will tell.
  18. Phillips all the way mate! Like most things in life you get what you pay for and Phillips and Osram are the best at this Xenon HID stuff. Also it may pay to get your alignment checked as well as bad aiming can cause quite a poor light output performance :)
  19. It would sell a little bit easier if it did have the sat-nav option... have being a dealer breaker atleast once so far!
  20. welllllll lol the cross over point from red LL coolant to the pink SLL coolant is mid 2003 or around when VVT-i started becoming the norm in Toyota's. You can however run SLL coolant in older cars if you like although i always preferred to sell LL coolant for the older cars as it was also cheaper and technically what there meant to run but we never had any issues with running the pink stuff. However you can't run LL coolant in say the Aurion as it's meant to have the SLL coolant. Make sense?
  21. guess you just need to ask yourself what you really want from the car and what are some must have features that exist in your current car that your next one need to have also? There is a fair few differences between the AT-X and Sportivo especially when you talk ZR6. But the basic powertrain and safety package is the same across the range it’s just the amount of fruit your used too or would like that will along with your wallet make the final decision lol.
  22. Guys the factory fill of SLL coolant doesnt need replacing untill 160,000kms :)
  23. http://s883.photobucket.com/albums/ac35/mattyadams/?start=all lol there's the link and its the second album? "Aurion - be your own man, make your move" http://www.bodykitskingdom.com.au/aurion.htm These guys are based in australia and seem to be sourcing the products from thailand, hope this helps
  24. Hey, i dont (yet) have the grill but mine is the same colour so if you like there is some pics in my gallery of my ZR6 :)
  25. Damm there keen see it go pretty quick. not sure why you would be discounting such a car so early on in the peice lol.
