  1. it was used to be $120 but it rose to $130 as of last year i think. Daryl, you said that your aurion was serviced at different dealers, at the same price each time. so does that mean that i can get my aurion serviced anywhere without having to actually get it done at the dealer i purchased it from and still get the same deal?

  3. well, according to the government and environamntal experts, the only advantages it brings is making the environment better. looking at your responses makes me assume that hardly anyone will use it or convert their cars to use it.
  4. the aurion is underated compared to the commodore and falcon, and i thinks it got to do with the fact that toyota has never had any reputation for producing big v6 cars eg. the camry v6 made a couple of years back was never able to compete with a flacon or commodore as it a 3.0 ltr v6 producing around 140kw compared to 170ish kw 3.6ltr commodore and a 4.0 ltr 190kw falcon.
  5. the thing that seems strange about what Daryl said about thr TRD having better economy than the normal Aurions is that Toyota claims the the TRD will drink 10.9ltr/100km compared to 9.9ltr/100km for a normal Aurion.
  6. are you kidding me?180000 km seems heaps, but 300000km?!that's insane even for the first aurions made back in 2006 which are only 3 years old.
  7. geez, regos in NSW are pretty expensive. down here in Victoria they charged me around $700 for my last rego renewal.
  8. your local toyota dealer should be able to do that for you. i think your nearest toyota is peter davey toyota in werribee. otherwise you can book for a tune up at any auto service centre if you prefer that.
  9. you should be able to retain the steering wheel controls, unless the specs and configuration of both audio systems are completely different, which i doubt. the size of both system are the same i think, therefore you should be able to fit the new system into where it belongs.
  10. i think i've seen a nulon or shell have oils according to those specs. olive green in colour sounds unusual though. the only benefits of fully synthetic oils are that it lasts longer during oil change intervals and better engine protection and flow. however, i wouldn't recommend oils such as 0w-40 because it's no use using them unless you're driving in freezing condition like in the US or parts of Europe where temperatures drop below 0 degrees Celcius.
  11. good on you Daryl, great achievement.
  12. vibration when braking too?then you'll also need a wheel alignment.
  13. try deleting the device('car multimedia' it should say) on your phone then try pairing it up again. i'm not so sure what's causing the problem your experiencing.
  14. geez, thta's really cheap then. but wouldn't you have suspicions for it?
  15. ooo, that's a little too big for a van don't you think?
  16. could be a typing mistake you guys.
  17. congrats on your buy joe. regarding tyre sizes, i would think its best to go for 18" or 19" as i personally think the 20" will be too big on the aurion. hope you enjoy driving your aurion around.
  18. man, i would be having major suspicions of that air filter-doesn't look genuine to me.
  19. geez, that's a good bargain you've got there. oh well, the black one does look good but you have to accept the fact that you have to wash it often to keep it looking at its best(that's why i bought a silver one). congrats on your purchase and may you have the best driving experiences with it.
  20. sorry, what do you mean by a/t?auto transmission?because if it is the transmission the engine wouldn't start because it relies on the fact that the 'p'(park)or 'n'(neutral) gear is engaged to start, and if the transmission isn't functioning properly than these gear might have been affected as well.
  21. why do you want to buy one from the US?isn't there Aus. ones here?
  22. congrats on your buy mate. may you have many years of great driving with it.
