i don't know if the performance of certain fuels in my aurion is any different to the yaris', but i would recommend you to steer clear of shell fuel do to its poor performance. i often get more power which may lead to better fuel economy using BP Ultimate or Mobil 98.

probably Asian owners. i'm an Asian myself and according to my knowledge, lots of Asians live in that area and like to drive black cars.

that must've been a little fustrating. it would be a little costly if you decide to repair that area.

first time i heard about this issue, therefore i doubt there was a recall until this moment. the only similar issue that i've seen, however, was with the aurion models which was previously discussed on this club.

a camry should be fine if it runs on route 1 only, unless parts of it is sand. that's going to be a long trip though.

tempting indeed. are the ones available here made in the US, meaning they exactly the same?geez, $57.26 for 5 ltrs...great bargain. $65 to fill the aurion's engine completely(5.676 ltr in a 5.7 tank). nice...

its a weak shocker by the sound of it. its most like that your shockers have worn out as the camry's 12 years old now unless its been replaced previously. or maybe the screw on the shocker has become loose.

Different fuels for Aurion... What do you use ?

i use Mobil 98 most of the time since its close to my house. i tend to use BP Ultimate as well if possible. -
my dream aurion would be one that has plenty of torque down low and RWD, that's all i want. however, 'rumours' say that the new model won't have a direct injection engine, which seems strange as the current model's engine is sourced from the Lexus 'RX' range. in my opinion, the new model should have it to compete with Ford and Holden.

Cheers seifer thnx mate. I got a quote for near a grand to fit some Varex muffs on sat, the tune-able ones. Was thinking for that sorta cash may as well spend a few grand and fit a full system with extractors. Would this freak the onboard system out? I kinda remember reading hear that a good system with extractors could yield 30hp? yeah, i would be worth it to spend a few extra grand for a good set up. i wonder how they would sound with the engine note.

it sounds a bit odd to me as the aurion just went through a facelift sept last year and it is unlikely that the new model will come out til 2012.

may i recommend the Pioneer 'Avic' range? i read though these stuff and found that they seem to be quite good. i haven't got the product no., but i know that the one that had a 5.8" screen with gps,reverse camera support,bluetooth,iPod,equalizer, built in amp ect. is about $2.4k whereas the one with the 7"screen is close to $3k. by the way, i love the panel-stunning in black! :)
