  1. Spotted black facelift sportivo lowered on stockies at eastwood railway station last night at 8pm.
  2. Yokohama S drive in 205/50/16. http://www.yokohama.com.au/ourtyres/tyre.aspx?tyreid=206 First impressions are that they are a quieter tyre than the toyo t1r that I had and the steering response from them is a lot better, but maybe this is because I was running 205/55/16 in the toyos. Dry grip is the same if not better than the toyos. Don't know about wet grip yet.
  3. You're not the only one. I get the bad smells in my car and I have a cabin air filter. I think it happens when you don't use your air con often and if you're always on recirculating air.
  4. Fifth gear comparing the ukdm hatch and jdm sedan civics.
  5. Congratulations on the new car. I want one too ! I am so jealous.
  6. I've got ones printed with "I am the Stig" but have since taken them off. If you want every tom d!ck and harry to give you a run or cut you off, then this will do it.
  7. Damn that's nice shifting vyets. You seem to shift at the right time in every gear. Are you using a shift light or do you keep your eyes on the tacho ?
  8. $1600 premium $700 excess $23000 value 60%ncb I'm in a high risk location as well as sportivo has higher rating points than 1zz.
  9. I only took one puff and coughed my lungs out. Never ever got into them again after that. I have trouble breathing Sydney's polluted air already. Same with beer. Drank one can, and couldn't see what the big deal was with it. In fact, it gave me the impression of drinking/tasting like urine - not that I have. You do feel odd when going to after work drinks or function, where everyone goes all out, and your on orange juice, soft drinks etc... I think this is one area where peer pressure hasn't gotten to me.
  10. Here's another one being driven around a track. http://www.honda.co.jp/CIVICTYPE-R/tasteof/tsuchiya-impre/ A lowered sportivo would handle the same right ?
  11. That thing that you have circled in your photos doesn't look right. When I was looking at the injen/aem ones, they never had that extra hole to block off. You sure you got the right one ? Whoops, you've got the right one. Looks like injen changed the design... http://www.injen.com/Galleries/ProductPres...82_press_V1.gif Where does that hose go to ???
  12. I know what you're talking about. I would experience the rear hopping out driving to city on the hume highway near enfield/croydon speed camera. There use to be a small speed hump / expansion point but that part of the road has been smoothed out now, so it doesn't happen anymore.
  13. me too "Michael what are you doing today?" "oh you know, car stuff" "oh ok... have fun" You're really lucky. My conversation goes like this... "Hey I'm going to buy these c-one wing tips for my car" "What are c-one wing tips ?" "They're these plastic things which go on each end of the spoiler" "How much do they cost ?" "Only $300" "$300 for two bits of plastic. No you're not."
  14. Who flushed that condom down the toilet ?
  15. A set cost me $55 aud delivered. Unfortunately, installation labour will cost a lot more...
  16. That's a very nice exhaust you got there ! :)
  17. I've got one and it is one of the best mods you can get after the cai. I haven't noticed any difference in terms of smooth shifting from the factory shifter. The throw is definitely shortened and it sits slightly lower than factory. I'm not exactly built like a tank, so if I can shift with no problems, believe me anyone can. You really notice the difference when taking off at the lights, and your already in second, whilst other people are still shifting...
  18. Those wheels look great and really suit the car. Can I ask where you got them from because I want a set as well :)

  19. BB should have gotten rid of her a long time ago and replaced here with someone with a fresh new look - similar to the news readers. Some of the outfits that she wears are absolutely ridiculous for her age. Putting lipstick on a pig don't make it any better.
  20. I'm also interested in prices as well. I just got quoted for RB74 for $165 for fronts and DS2500s for $225 from Race Brakes Sydney. Does this seem reasonable ?
  21. I mate of mine has test driven the 2007 civic type r and said that as soon as you put it through a few twisties with any decent acceleration it's hello understeer. Also, he mentioned he couldn't feel vtec kick in when revved to the limiter. But one thing that he said was that it surprisingly has good bottome to midrange torque.
  22. If you can fit me in, then put me down for some blue ones. Otherwise I'll wait for the next round.
  23. I get it... But aren't ads like this sexually discriminating ? It conveys the image that all hoons are young male drivers of commodores and falcons have little willies.
  24. I'm trying to work out what significance or the meaning of wiggling the pinky finger around.
  25. 2 years now and about 20% tread left but then again I don't launch it at every set of lights. A great tyre in the wet too !
