guys facelift panels are on the cards and already have a rough proto type to work with. As soon as i feel up to it i will be working on them. One of the first things I will be doing is getting the panels under way.

I could say use the search button that would be too easy....... Changing a rear muffler on a Sportivo is a risky thing to do. most of the fart cannons etc you buy are simply straight through and have NO BACK PRESSURE. Sportivo corolla's are very sensitive to back pressure. too much you loose power and too little you loose power. CES have done the homework and tried several rear muffler combo's to find which one worked the best and yielded the KW increase combined with the rest of the system. If you want a specific dyno comparison between stock and a cannon and something else then you may have to do it yourself. I have done my part in the development phase of stuff for the sportivo and cost me plenty of time and dollars. so if you would like to step up to the plate and continue then be my guest. Can't wait to see the results. Sometimes you have to do stuff for yourself. You cannot always expect somebody else to do all the hard work for your benefit.

Saw a ZR Levin today riding on 17's with kings and it sat with about 3-4 fingers space from tyre to guard. Looked nice.

I know somebody who tried K sport and they are waay stiff. they work for the sussy wholesaler i deal with and they are far from impressed with them. Too stiff and just not good for Aus roads at all.

CES does exchange ported and coated headers. You can also get them uncoated if you wish which does bring the price down a bit as coating is expensive. I know CES has a few sets sitting in thier show room atm as i saw them on Friday. Chicaboo had his car there on Friday getting CAI and headers and is loving it. Give CES a call as they will freight anywhere interstate. 07 3200 2333. As for price think it's around 500ish exchange with a $200 odd holding deposit till you send your stock headers back. Without coating it's around $350 ish just painted with heat proof paint. coating does look waay kool though all bling bling for your Rolla.

Sorry guys as SD has said i been having some issues with my back which makes undertaking projects like this harder than normal. bending over the front of a car for any length of time is painfull as plus getting up off a creeper from under a car is also not real nice. haven't forgotten but as soon as i am physically able to do this without major pain it will get done.

Not for a 1ZZ. Go to a decent exhaust shop and get them to see if it can be repaired and ALSO get them to see if they can see why they have cracked. They may need an extra mount or flex joint to eliminate the chance of them doing it again.

Great day weather wise and hope all had fun. Sorry I couldn't stay longer but had another Chrissy party to go to hence my leaving before we got there. Guys i suggest next time before the cruise starts you have a full tank of fuel and a 2 way radio so that time isn't wasted waiting for people and communicating is also a lot easier. Congrats to Phil for organising this event!! Good to go somewhere different for a change. So who's organising the next event??? Not hard to do and some of us here are happpy to help if needed.
