  1. Pretty sure they are a 7.5 Amp cigarette lighter circuit. You will be fine.
  2. Lift the rear seat and remove the cover plate. You can see the filter plate quite easily. I used the Z646 in our 07 ZR6. Make sure you replace all of the o-rings and seals. If you don't, it can result in poor quality starts. These can be purchased from a dealership or Ryde Toyota on eBay(unsure if they still do the kits).
  3. Try the New Hilux forums as well.
  4. There is no limit. I just did a quick check via the edit option on your post and it still has the attachments option. Once attached you need to press the black plus symbol on the image in order to add it into the body of the text.
  5. Toyota should be fully aware of this issue. It is a controller and intake cam related issue.
  6. Not sure about iPhone, but some Android phones drop volume to a 'safe' level when connecting to a new device. You just need to turn up the phone volume if that has happened.
  7. Google 2GR VVTi rattle. Very common in the Aurion and Kluger. Very expensive to fix as well.
  8. It's generally the very top clip hole on the lights, due to the angle. Assuming it's a hatch.
  9. The only issue we have had is a leaking water pump and tail light leaks. The water pump is the easiest I have ever changed and was less than $100.
  10. Alpine are generally considered better quality, but also carry a higher premium. Pioneer are acceptable quality
  11. You learn lessons in life. Unfortunately, this was an expensive one for you. I believe the OEM part number you have is correct. The searches I have done, show that part number for all MCV20 V6 manual models regardless of build country. It is not Touring specific.
  12. Tail lights leaks and minor clutch/gearbox issues come to mind.
  13. They quite often seize in, especally if anti-seize is not used. It is also made of a fairly low grade steel. I think less than grade 8.8.
  14. Pirelli generally don't make rubbish, so I think you would be fairly safe. There are a few reviews around, even video reviews, and most seem fairly positive. Another solid Bridgestone option is the RE003. It will pay to shop around as well.
  15. That was incredibly hard to read. Please keep posts shorter and more concise, it will make assisting you much easier. I would use the mount you have, it should be fine. Once again don't just assume the mount wasn't replaced, just because you don't have anything saying that it was. The transmission mount may be sagging, causing the lean to the left. There is a good chance that all of the mounts are somewhat worn if they are indeed the originals. Buying parts from outside of Australia is at your own risk. It's a risk that has paid off for me, more times than not. I have not seen the underside of the plate on the top of the specific mount that you have; however, it should have a recess for the locating pin(roll pin) or that pin can be removed.
  16. I'd say there is a high chance it does. My 2013 Hilux SR has it and that is a very basic headunit.
  17. This is where a kit will come in handy. Otherwise Supercheap or similar auto stores will have blade fuse holders.
  18. Normally, if the engine was actually cranking, I would remove the EFI fuse or relay and crank for up to; but not more than 15 seconds. Ensuring that the voltage doesn't drop below 10V.
