  1. Welcome. Another helpful forum is: http://www.newhilux.net
  2. Don't forget to create a Members Rides thread and post the pics there. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/forum/43-members-rides/
  3. Anything from a 10W-40 to a 20W-50 will be fine in the Australian climate. Any brand is fine, but you will pay more for better quality oils. The main thing is to service often to prevent damaging sludge build up. I prefer to service at 5,000km or 6 montly intervals to prevent this; however, I would not go more than 10,000km.
  4. I wouldn't bother, they will be rubbish and will have probably deteriorated by now. You are better off getting some aftermarket ones.
  5. Welcome, looks good. I have moved it to the Members Rides section.
  6. Not sure on the dimensional differences, but they are totally different in design.
  7. Sounds like you had a ball! 😂
  8. You will want to check for power(12V) at that 6 pin connector for the shifter. Probably with the ignition in the on position. Potentially with the engine running.
  9. You are pretty much limited to Kenwood then based on your requirements, although you will have compromises.
  10. I wouldn't bank on that, it hasn't worked properly since they first fitted it to the KUN26Rs in 2004.
  11. You will struggle to find any that aren't made in China these days.
  12. It's hit and miss, plenty have done it with no issues, but there has also been quite a lot now with the starting issues as a result of reusing them. You should always replace seals and o-rings as they harden over time, especially in a harsh environment like a fuel tank.
  13. What colour were the "iffy wires? How bad were they and how did you "fix them up"? It should be on this fuse: 7.5A - ECU IG NO. 2 Any other faults or CELs? ABS, VSC, ETC.? It is a fairly complicated circuit overall; however, if you aren't getting power to it in the first place, then you need to start there. Do you have a multimeter or test light at your disposal? If not, buy one or take it to a pro.
  14. There are plenty of posts regarding the Eonon units on these foums, mostly positive.
  15. I doubt you will find many, who have done the conversion specifically on the Kluger; however, the Aurion runs the same 2GR-FE engine. Here is a link of a fairly lengthy review into the LPG swap on the 2GR engine.
  16. This is all well and good in RWD application, but far harder in a FWD application as you have the chassis at the strut tower and the firewall impeding progress.
  17. Check all of the trim pieces nearby. You may also need to remove the cover to access the shifter assembly and regrease the shifter pivot or the cable pivots.
  18. The dealer probably won't even consider touching it(nor would I let them). Your best bet would be a car audio specialist in your area.
  19. It should work as the steering wheels are the same, provided the wiring is correct.
