  1. The only way that it is bad for the engine is if you are revving it high when the engine is not up to temperature, or you are constantly bouncing it off the limiter. Transmission-wise, probably not the best for it, but realistically shouldn't do too much damage, unless you are really aggressive in your driving style.
  2. The 2GR engines are also plagued with issues.
  3. Baileys Diesel Group have a lot of information on this issue.
  4. Welcome, best of luck with your search.
  5. I would be leaning towards a fuel pump/fuel pickup issue. Without having eyes on or diagnosing the vehicle, it makes it hard to give an accurate answer.
  6. I haven't seen the removable tongue style tow bar for the Gen 3 Camry.
  7. How much fuel is in the tank?
  8. If you've done all that above, it would be worth inspecting the clutch again. You may have a snapped pressure plate spring or clutch disc spring retainer, depending on if you have a solid pedal or no pedal at all. Exedy clutches are notorius for broken retainers.
  9. Easy done. Grab a multimeter or test light and source a wire that is only live when the switch is in the high beam position. Use that as your tigger wire for your relay on the light bar.
  10. I believe Toyota used their M-OBD protocol on that model. I have read that Toyota Techstream works, but I can not confirm this.
  11. Apologies, it wasn't the piece I thought it was from looking at it on my phone. I can't actually recall that piece. Regardless of how the o-rings look, replace all of them. There is also a new type top "o-ring" for the pump, well for the Aurion anyway, which runs the same filter.
  12. It is wise to use an anti-seize compound on the adjuster threads as well. This will prevent them from locking up down the track and make it easier to ajdust.
  13. Welcome. There are a few Stout owners here.
  14. From memory, I think it slots into the hole next to the black piece along with an o-ring.

  17. Oddly enough so did I, it would appear that Autobarn sell them. https://www.autobarn.com.au/haynes-repair-manual-toyota-hi-lux-4x4-4x2-tgn16-ggn15-ggn25-kun16-kun26-2005-2011
