haha good effort northy :P

I had the video camera setup ready on my dash on Saturday night whilst a few of us were on the M1 but it looked a bit sus...and i really need to mount it properly.....then you would have seen how well a certain other 1zz moves on the highways ;)

oh and I hope that the camera was mounted on the steering collom and you had a remote in your hand which was on the steering wheels to take that photo ;)

Where did you find a road long enough? Without blue bottles around? I've had my Stivo to 215 on the Gateway Mwy. Early morning with no cars around but still a bit risky. Be careful with videoing your fun. If it falls into the wrong hands you're screwed! Seen it happen to a customer of mine. Ask JC - he was there and lucky not to lose his ute.

Guys,

Am I missing something ?

240km/h from a 1zz ?

The only performance mod it has is CAI ?

I see it but I don't believe it is all I can say.:blink::blink:

Cheers

T.

One other observation :

At 100km/h a manual 1zz is doing 3000 rpm.

So @ 200km/h it would be doing 6000rpm.

@ 240km/h it would be doing 7200rpm.

1zz is redlined @ 6200rpm. (Don't know what the cutout is at ?)

Can we see a photo of the Speedo and Tacho ?

Call me a sceptic !

hmmmm

maybe northy is blessed by the autogods?????

Case#1 - Grabbing a 15.1 at a test and tune event where all the other stivos could manage 15.2 at best!?

Case#2 - an extreme speed is a car that in theory cant go that fast without a 6 spped box?

I think its time to call Fox Mulder and Dana Scully!!!!!!!!!!!

WELL DONE MATE!! you are the first person to pic that this pic cannot be real. While I was cleaning the perspex on the instrument cluster I just wound the dials round as far as it would go and said what the hell ill take a pic. So this pic was taken while I was sitting in my garage.

I think this topic is going too far. In my opinion stuff like this should not be here in this forum.

:blink::blink::huh::huh: ???? I don't get it?

Well some people will never understand it until it happen to them isn’t it. For anyone didn't understand and wants to understand it’s about high speed driving on the streets and their consequences.

"So this pic was taken while I was sitting in my garage. " and so what if we talk about how fast our cars can go? whats the big deal?? Some times i speed and i admit it if you want to look down on people for doing it then so be it
