Not a major fan of the guards over the windows or the chrome handles, but the rest looks quite stunning! Very neat quality and build too, especially that sound system that looks almost like stock. Even the wiring in the engine bay looks rather clean.

I'm not sure of what comes standard in that particular model of the Camry, but I take it from the millions of buttons and the remote in the back they are for in-car entertainment or something?

The picture in the rear of the car is actually a sound processor to improve the original sound system. Mine came with the navigation system so didn't want to buy a new one. The summary of the sound system is as follows (all Alpine):

I actually dont mind the kit. The front looks alot squarer & the bottom lip doesn't stick out too far on the front bumper. Makes it look less 'supercar' & more 'sports car'.

Is this kit readily available?

Um... MartysAurion... what were you trying to say in your last post? I'm not quite understanding it's purpose. The Australian Aurion, the Asian Aurion, the US V6 Camry all have the same 2GR-FE engine. The TRD Aurion still has a 2GR-FE in it, which would mean that it has the same engine, bar the supercharger and fuel injectors. I thought that this was already known.

Yes, it is actually available but I would not recommend you getting it from here.

I had to go back to get it fixed before I got to this point.

Hell no.

On Saturday night, I recorded 5.8s from 0-100 km/h three times on a bone dry road with Bridgestone Adrenalin tyres with another person in the passenger seat. Give or take 0.1s for human reaction time, that's still bloody quick. After the initial squeal of wheelspin, the torque pushes you back and the supercharger whines. As long as you change gears once the tacho reads 5,500RPM to adjust for the shift lag, you're laughing.

Of course not.

Normal aurion and TRD are not same in 0-100KM.

AT-X model is around 7.42sec (may vary on other models depending on some extra equipment) and TRD one is about 6sec.

If there's any difference between normal aurion and trd aurion, why would people buy trd with higher price tag. :spiteful:

Because of the Super charger, Body Kit Leather Seats, Brakes and suspension is heaps better than standard.

I still believe there the same engine 1 -supercharger and fittings. I know it's a faster car, much better brakes and suspension.

Brought a friend in the TRD on Saturday. He is in the process of purchasing a car.

Brought him around some corners at 80-100km/h tyres squealing and all, he wet his pants (not literally, I would have killed him), got out of the car muttering "holy ****". He now has a new-found respect for FWD cars. It has taken a track day to finally teach me how to properly handle the car, and with new understanding of how the car handles at the limit I can push it further than I used to.

I was actually saving money to trade the car in and buy an Evo X, but the longer I am with this car the more I like it, and the performance tradeoff is really not that great if driven properly.

      2001 Toyota Camry wagon passenger side locks not working

      Had a similar issue with my 2003 Camry sedan. I'm think the mechanism might be bit stiff, so removing the door card and spraying the locking cable (the one that pushes the lock knob into the lock and unlock position on the interior door handle) with some Innox might work to loosen up the old grease and get it working again.

      2007 - floor mats

      Hi Ed, Hmm that's a tough one mate ..short of going to Toyota to get genuine and no I doubt they would laugh at you as it's a sale and money is tight right now. I am not sure if you are on Facebook or not but I have seen an advert on there for what looks like superb floor mat sets that do seem excellent quality and a wide range but like most things now they are not cheapish. My best advice is source some good quality ones and search online for someone who offers embroidery as some do tradie shirts and logos on clothing it may be worth a phone call to those sort of places as I know a local one to me does all sorts of work on many things related to embroidery or an alternative choice is the online sites like Temu...       2001 Toyota Camry wagon passenger side locks not working

      Gday, I've got a 2001 Camry wagon which has been having locking issues for a while now, just started occurring out of the blue. There is no fob so we manually unlock and lock from the driver side door, however the rear and front passenger doors consistently have issues. Either when we unlock one or both doors don't unlock and must be unlocked from inside the car, or when we lock it one or both don't lock and the car beeps. To fix that, we open the door, lock it from the inside, the lift up the handle and close the door before releasing the handle. That fixes the locking issue. When testing the locks from inside the car, I can see that they partially lock and unlock, so I'm wondering if they need to be replaced entirely or if there's some other way to fix it. Cheers

      2002 Hilux Engine Replacement

      I have a 2002 Hilux that is meant to have a 5le engine but i think it was replaced with a new engine with a turbo before i bought it. Its a different engine compared to what is in the manual - eg the alternator is at the bottom not the top as per the manual. The engine is seized - tried roll starting downhill and wheels just locked up. I cant find what the engine is. Any ideas on where I would find it? Also 5LE engines are hard to find - any ideas on what else i could put in? Does a 1KZ fit?

      Low boost it happens highway 112kmph po299 low boost limp mode gear won't pass 4th even on sports mode when I reset complete normal my engine was rebuilt done 20000km new turbo injector check and good working order I use penrite egr and cat cleaner there was a improvement I didn't get a chance to do over 100 kmph is it fuel air ratio related or valve o2 cat egr map sensor or map filter related? Any thoughts ?

      Boot Dimensions?

      Hi All, Greetings from the UK. I wondered if any kind folk could help me out. I am trying to get hold of some measurements for the boot/trunk of later model Fortuners. Does any know the height, min width (between the stowed 3rd seats) and the min depth from the 2nd row seat backs to the tailgate? Trying to work out if I can get all my luggage on board before I travel. Hope someone can help. Cheers KP
