Stu! I am here because I AM a TOYOTA owner TOO! I drive a Camry V6 normally and the 8 is my weekend car

For some here it may interest you that Taka has been to 'destination X' and through the top part you cannot keep with him, he's crazy through those twists!  Yes Bill more than you!

OK count me in for the Dyno day too!

I am game enough to turn the DSC off... track time pays occasionally.

Where does the ILIVfor6 come from????

Are you going to dyno Danielle's SP23 too?! :o

I am really tempted to bring my 98' Camry V6 Auto in the dyno too LOL  B) . It gives 141kW@5000rpm, but I never feel it LOL :D

Welcome Takahashi (Another Initial d fan

huh?), Glad to have you come along.

Well I was, now they don't show Ryouske driving than it is no point watching

The Sportivo gets real fun to drive once over 6000rpm. This is where the L part of VVTI-L comes into play. In my old modded Sportivo once lift kicked in I would leave DC2 Type-R's wondering where I went, and even pull WRX's back in. Still miss it a little.

Hence I Live for 6000rpm :D :D :D

Hey Brandon.... I can't supply you with a performance sticker, because the vinyl used is only available in QLD as a limited stock run.

The non-performance vinyl is available in all other states... :P :P :P

Chompies, I let the owner know it would possibly be 20+ cars, they didn't seem to be fazed. It would still be a long day though.

it's only 30 minutes if you tie down and brace the cars etc etc, but no ont is likely to be putting out 250+kW ATW so this isn't really a requirement, it's simply roll-on, set up, run, roll-off.... 15 mins each!!!

For us it was roll on, they put the little thing on the side of the wheel so the torque steer didn't drive us sideways, then it was 1 warm up run, 1 practice run, then 1 run to plot the chart with...

then undo the things on the side of the wheels and roll off

about 10 - 15 min per car max....

unless they tried taking off in 6th gear  then they had to do a 4th run

My car took the longest I think, because after it was ready to go, he did 4 runs, as mentioned above, then we did an extra plot with a K&N filter, then another with no filter and an open air-box for comparitive purposes....

We actually found that between the 3 runs, stock, K&N, no filter - that there was absolutely no difference in power output.

Silvabullit & I believe that the K&N's performace was limited due to it literally being fitted without any other preparation.

I have since re-fitted the K&N to my car, and reset the ECU and have, to quote Northy, driven the tits off it...

Results are pending because I really can't afford to pay for another dyno run to see the differenc, but I certainly do notice a slight differenc in the car since running the filter in and resetting the ECU.

But yeah, as mentioned, just sticking the K&N in provides no extra power output at all..

**NB: THIS IS A K&N PANEL FILTER FITTED TO THE STANDARD AIRBOX!!!!**
