Thanks for the compliments guys, it is a pretty awesome thing to drive.

As for you Marky Mark, I better keep my cards close to my chest with snapping at my tail lol

Sack your mechanics too, if they can't find where to pick up a boost signal on your TRD :D

Yeah, he's been the only reliable machanic I've used so far. we probably didn't even try that hard

The car is a daily driver and I need to just pop in and pop out straight away and get back to concrete polishing.

The other morons around Melbourne need the car for a few days because they can't organise their timetable.

I'm getting the smaller pulley fitted in a week or two. Will post the results.

Looked into the Nitrous but am a bit sketchy about blowing the car up.

Have you looked into upgrading the intercooler? I think its a pretty efficient system at the moment.

I was only making enquiries about getting an lsd fitted. Surely you struggle to keep your tyres on the tarmac.

My 24's spin like crazy. Already had a fine off the cops for not controlling vehicle, when I smoked it around a corner to get into heavy traffic.

So what is the RWKW tally up to now, I'm stuck on 235 RWKW

Anyone done an work to the TRD Aurion? My sister has one and it hammers on a cold night.

Marky Mark,

You should start a thread for your hilux, will be easier to keep a track of then.

Certainly sounds like it is making some power, you should put your dyno sheet up.

Have you ever run yours down the quarter?

Marky Mark yes pls start a thread :) Is your traction problem from standing starts? it may be as simple as weight transfer.

I would imagine those units are pretty stiff suspension wise.

Will start a thread tonight, no quarter miles yet.

The 24's had less grip than the stockies, got the stockies on now, they are a bit better

but yes, only on takeoff is traction a problem. I should now how to drive it better but in the heat of battle its easy to

slam the foot down. Its too easy for eveyone else with traction control.

I think the new model SR5 lux's come out with factory traction control.

Those radials looked mean Jap, how much did they sting you for those?

Well,

It has been a while....little bit of work done here and there...and in response to the above, data logs taken today show a 0-100 time of 5.57 secs on all terrain tyres lol

So it is still a fun thing to drive.

Next thing, I'll be in Brisbane after Labour Day weekend, looking to hit the Test n Tune at Willowbank on the 9th May.

Pretty excited, racing at a DECENT track for a change, will be good to see the difference in times (if any lol)

So give us a yell if you're keen, I'd like to catch up with some of you guys.

Jumping on the end of an old thread as well, hoping for a bit of help.

I have just bought a TRD supercharger. We will be pulling it off a Hilux this week.

I will be putting it onto my 2005 120 Prado (VX V6 auto).

The current owner has a new unused TRD ECU. Does anyone know if I can straight swap this for the existing ECU?

Also does anyone know a good tuning place in Sydney that has experience with the TRD system?

You will probably be the only peson to ever try this, so don't expect a definitive response.
