As part of my other job i was talking to our Phillips rep (Phillips are pretty much the only lamp supply to the production lighting manufactures) and he was able to hunt me out some HID kits for my car for about $120 a kit. I got 6000k's all round although the fog lamps arent quite as white as the projector low beam's which is weird because Pardigm's are pretty much an identical colour hmm... but look yeah just do it, it s a worthwhile upgrade on the Aurion. They work really well with the projector lamp assy and you get a fantastic light throw you won't regret plus it looks pretty cool haha jump on my gallery there is a few pics of the lamps fired up :)

I cant remember if it's late next year or the year after. DI might not be a goer as Toyota feels the tech hasn’t been enhanced enough right at the moment despite it already been used on the Lexus version. Toyota has promised a more advanced rear suspension multi link arrangement and AWD is or has been looked at also so I’m told but everybody you talk to has a different idea so i don't know what to believe but for Toyota to continue to be competitive the power will have to increase soon so if they don’t want to put 19in as standard so the trucker grips then awd might have to be a goer, at least on the Sportivo model anyway, :)

what sort of price range is it around and what szie does it come in ? lol well i think i paid about a whopping $3.50! And it’s just slightly diamond shaped cartridge that ergonomically slips on your vents :)

Through the Valvoline range of Eagle one car care products they have a vent scent called "new car smell" i actually have it in my car, smell quite alright not to over powering.

These is also true and in addition to this if there is any battery power left the lights will also come on to attract attention :) Paradigm: Not really going to be a problem where we live but there is a bit of a problem with been robbed and your car stolen whilst waiting at the lights in the bigger cities :S

Yes one of the reason they could come up with for the weird **** design was so that it was tucked up nice and neat out of the way. keen to look into it a bit further now. Not sure i want to touch the pre cats though, i know there a restriction and would help make more power with out them but i think it would cause more dramas than the extra power it worth.

Random question, i looked but couldn’t find the answer but I’m sure it must of been discussed or somebody would of done it already lol. had the Sportivo around at one of customers places today which is the newest and by far the best dyno motorsport prep place in the state, seriously no expense was spared. A properly good Mainline 4wd dyno that can’t be cheated. Engine test bed which the Targa Tas winners white hot lambo's engine has been on and a onsite fabrication centre. So anyway i was saying just how tough it was to do any real beneficial power mods to the Aurion and was saying what monkey wrench racing had done in the Lotus so in the end the wacked her up on the hoist for a quick look at the exhaust system and said to me why try and fix the weird as y bend? Why not have separate pipes and join then again just prior to the cat? Surely if this was that simple somebody would have done it by now though yeah? Only problem they could see with it on their quick look is those bloody o2 sensors that make carry on because obviously it wouldn’t get as hot down there? Anyway they also thought it might be worth a crack to put straight through pipes on it without the pre cats and put a properly good high flow cat in the exhaust. So go on then break my heart and ruin my dreams, what would be wrong with this quickly thought up fix lol? Also at later date i will throw the Aurion on their dyno and see what sort of result this type of dyno spits

So after Andy's problem with his service/oil and injector cleaner info it got me thinking that maybe we should have a list of dealers in our areas that people feel do give good service and happy to leave there car with for services/warrenty issues?? who wants to kick it off?

Thats great news mate that you were not left out of pocket for their inability to do what they were paid to do,afterall it costs no more to do the job required correctly.So mate I know you dont want to name them but to put our minds at rest can you at least let us know what state and also what town or at least what area you had it in at;;;It leaves a sour note in your mouth and what they dont think about is the fact that you are going to tell your mates and they are going to tell someone and on and on it goes. Its just pure incompetence and being totally slack, but anyway good to hear Mate that is fantastic that you have had this problem sorted out, i hope they was honst that they made a mistake and fixed it and didnt try and dodge the question. Also hope you asked them what would of happened if you had put the diesel cleaning in your car and who's problem that would of been lol.

Congrats on your purchase, nobody can deny the insane and addictive performance of Barra turbo engine especially the FPV variety, it some days saddens me that my BF MK2 LM XR6T was such a dud so i hope for your sake they have sort all the problems out in the new car. mmmm i did see something about Presara's HID's the other day at work ;) But i think it was referring to the fact that sometimes the HID light wouldnt fire whichas we all know just happens sometimes with these kind of lights :S

So pretty much no matter what we do or say we arent going to win this argument hay lol? But there’s enough differences between the Camry and Aurion especially the Sportivo model for it to be considered it separate model. I mean no Camry anywhere where in the world looks like a Sportivo or has the features so that’s good enough for me lol. I mean that’s like saying a GTS HSV is just an Omega, what’s the difference? An engine and body kit lol.
