Looking for either a full headlight or even one that the glass has broken on. Mine glass is fine but where the globe goes in tis a little melted.. Globe was half hanging out for a while and melted the plastic. Anyone got one?

Have been through the tyre topic but unable to find an answer. Wanting to know if the Aurion bog standard Touring will fit 18x8.5 +30 and 18x9.5 +35 wheels? If you have done it will it fit without rolling guards and scraping? What size tyres have you got on them? Thanks

As the title says I am looking for the part number for the little black push clips that hold up the undertray The tray that clips onto the underneath of the motor. Also hoping same part number for the cowl that goes over the engine. Thanks in advance

Those plugs come out pretty easy. They will just pop out. As for the wiring it wont be too hard as it is just a couple of wires. One to power, another to negative and one that runs of to the DRL's so wont be too hard. You will have to let us know if DRL's are any good.

Presume you mean the part that sits over the top of the spark plug hole, Square or round shouldnt make any difference. Usually just that shape to keep the muck out of the hole which i presume is under them. Havent played with your model but thinking that is it

Think you will find it is the clear coat that has deteroiated. Only thing to do is give the old girl a repaint in those places

Greetings folks. Have had the VSC light come on on the car and took it to Toyota and they say it is either the Brake light switch or the deceleration sensor that is causing the issue. My question is does someone in the North Brisbane area have a Brake light Switch that I can borrow to test out the first part of their theory?

And the price you are after for this one? Did you find it too stiff hence the downgrade?

Not a problem. I thought the same when I was told to get it fixed by the missus. Before we got the car it looked like someone had used steel wool to clean it in a couple of places. Was pleasantly surprised when I was told how much.

Am guessing it is too late but I purchsed the front plastic bit from toyota themselves for the Aurion and it was only 17 bucks. Was for the 2007 but guessing it wouldnt be much more for the later models

If you are going to change out the clutch would be mad not to change the bearings at the same time. And yeah I would go with it being Spigot or throwout bearing as well

The rims on ebay look pretty bad. Myself I would hold out and get something better.

G'day there. What sort of condition are the seats in? Any marks nicks scratches at all? Any soft spots from use? What area of Sydney are you in? Oh and did they come out of a Camry or Aurion and what year in case I missed that bit

What size are these wheels and what area you in?

Well i'm assuming the 7" is double din slot so you can install that if your get a double din fascia but it depends if the head unit does what you need? Is there a reason why you want to go touch screen? or you don't want to stick to standard head units? I checked out your car and can see you have the stock head unit. You can do what i'm doing and using a Android Tablet and still keep the stock head unit you just won't be able to use the 6 stacker cd (Although the whole fascia could be made to flip up to access the 6 stacker) That is another option but your reverse camera wouldn't be used but you can use an IP cam with android for reverse but you would need to think of some way to launch the camera app when you go into reverse (Should be simple I have a few ideas) But you really need to workout what it is you need or want in a head unit and which one is right for you but all of them besides your own 7" touch screen will cost a few hundred unless you have a spare tablet too. How have you got the Tablet mounted so you can use it?

If there is that much in there your best bet is to take it out and see how it is getting in there and fix that. Until then a small hose will get most of it out just siphoning.

I too have a $350 ish unit and it works well, for what i need it for, That toyota unit sorry to say but it does not look good, does not look like it belongs there to be honnest. Very aftermarket looking. I will agree on that it doesn't not look the best it would be nice if it was silver ,don't get me wrong but you cant compare this unit to the eBay ones your way off first the sound quality is 10x better then the eBay unit and never lags like then old unit I had, there are too many things to list that are much better am not saying the eBay units cant do the job there just not the best at the end you get what you pay for. Have no idea who you got yours from but mine sounds better than the standard one in the Aurions sounds just as good as a mates who has the genuine Toyota unit and does way more things. So I guess you are right as you get what you pay for but if you check it out first there are some really good ones out there that don't ask for ridiculous money and don't charge a fortune just to update the maps in them as well.

Same here. Put the chinese ebay unit from Easydeals in my car 3 years ago and it is still going strong. Can update the maps whenever I was watch DVDs play the music from the phone and so on. Original unit may be standard part number but you aint getting your moneys worth from them. And it only cost 300 bucks (got cheap auction) Everything plugged in factory wiring. If possible see it working first as I will admit sometimes the software being used can be a bit sluggish depending on who you get it from. For those who don't know I may have found the issue. From what I can gather water getting in is standard. Solution I found The problem actually is the drains in the rocker panels and it applies to all 80s. The drain slots are very small and clog easily. There are three on the bottom of each sill under the doors, one near the front, one at the middle and near the back. They are right on the seam and can be difficult to find. When you have a close look, you'll spot them. A fine stick or something will clear them (actually, the thin end of a zip tie is good). It is an idea to pull the rubber bungs and flush the rockers out every now and then. They fill with dust and once water gets in, it makes mud.

Hi folks. BIL has got himself an 80 series but it is getting water in the Left hand sill. Pulling the drain plug out near the rear wheels when wagon is on slight slope and there is a good 2-3 litres of water that comes pouring out. So far have been unable to find where the water is getting in and was hoping someone has had the issue before and found the location. That is a lot of water over a day or so parked outside Have looking in usual suspect areas like windscreen and firewall but cant see anything there so far.
