  4. Depending on your personality, I'm sure this opinion will change easily once you hear how sweet it sounds. I reckon as long as you keep your stock intake bits, you could remove the SRI and fit the stock intake in under 10 minutes. I'm not 100% on the SRI/CAI subject, but I think I've hear things like an SRI can give you top end gains, but you can lose low end torque. Like I said, things like this are based on my shoddy memory so someone with more information on the subject should comment here.

  10. Well, if you choose to wait, then so be it. I personally find eMule to be safe for download and spyware free and use it all the time to 'research' all my favourite TV shows.

  15. They are 6x9's as well. Fitting aftermarket 6x9's in the Gen 6 Camry though requires a little bit of work especially at the front because the cutout for the speaker is larger than the standard 6x9 speaker mounts.
  16. Used tires are pretty much useless unless they have a fair bit of tread on them, but if you were replacing your old tires, chances are they are not usable except for burnouts. When you replace your tires, you usually pay a few dollars for them to scrap them for you. Otherwise you can choose to keep them and line a go kart track or something with them.
  17. A response from Toyota may be iffy I would imagine. See they may just go by what the manual states which for the pre-facelift, states HB3. This is not the case though as it is the HIR modified HB3 that makes it a 9011 bulb. If you want to see if it is a HIR bulb, you simply just have to look into the headlight housing from the front when you are in decent light (or using a torch), and see if the bulb looks like this... note the strange shape and slight tint around the middle of the bulb: Otherwise, if you have a good camera, just take a close up photo of the bulb through the front of the headlight, or if you are willing, you can just take your bulb out and take a photo of it and I can tell you if it is a HB3 or 9011 HIR.
  18. You shouldn't bump your price like that. You should easily be able to sell it for more than that. It's just a limited market on here. Just be patient. It feels wrong for you to sell it off at that amount.
  19. Hey Taka. Depends on how you define very old. Over here I've seen a few left hand drive cars on the road like 1960's Mustangs. I would say they are old, but not very old :P. In Queensland at least, these are the requirements to be able to apply for registration of a LHD vehicle: * vehicles that are at least 30 years old * historic ambulances and historic fire-fighting equipment * street rods (hot rods) — vehicles that have been modified for safe road use and have a body and frame built before 1949 * replicas of a motor vehicle, the body and frame of which were built before 1949, that is fitted with a modification plate, code LH9. As well, those warning signs only apply to LHD vehicles 4.5 tonnes or greater. But yeah, in answering the OP's question; no it can't be done.
  20. It's not as easy as you think with some cars like Toyota. The ECU is programmed at the factory (or where ever it is built prior to being fitted to the car). There are maps inside it that just can not be altered by anyone but Toyota due to encryption and coding standards that are yet to be cracked. Because the cars like the Camry aren't really seen by many out there to be a performance vehicle, no one is really going to invest any time to try and crack the ECU. There would be no guarantee that they would be able to crack it as well. When Toyota plug in their equipment, they can modify certain parameters but not change the maps inside the ECU. If the need arises, I'm sure they would be able to completely re-flash the ECU with new maps, but this would be ones provided by Toyota made according to their specification. This is why people either change the ECU completely or use a piggyback to modify the signals to/from the ECU.

  22. I haven't actually tested that, but it seems to pick up on it from as simple as a few minutes of city driving or after 10 or so minutes of highway driving. Those are just guesstimates based on feel.
