    I think you need to get it back to your mechanic to diagnose. It may just be a dead shock. Why was the TRD parted out? Accident?

    If they are the matched pair from the TRD, the strut shouldn't bottom out. If they were standard length on a lowered spring, I could see this happening.

    You have the old engine, so you will have everything you need to do the swap, aisde from any gaskets you need or anything you break.

    Without testing them yourself it will be very hard to say which is the best for your ears. Tridon are quite audible from my experience, but not excessive.

    This makes me quite nervous as AliExpress can be rather hit and miss.
