  1. None :) .....get a skyline or silvia or something with a turbo on it from stock or else you must have lots of cash to spend. if i had to pick it would be a supercharger, simply because it's better for our engine specs.
  2. Using Shannon Noel is going into the real dirty tricks territory WHAT ABOUT ME!!!!!!! IT ISN'T FAIR!!!!!! Anyway Carlo, the McLaren mercedes only looks good because its partly black
  3. Mate.....please dont mention silver or i will fall asleep :P :P silver is suitable if you own a merc and youre in the 45+ bracket............Oooooooooooooooooooo :P :P :P BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Black has the best resale value :) and lets face it ladies and gents, once you own black you fall in love with the car without wanting to, by constantly rubbing the interiour and cleaning it with a wet soapy sponge, rubbing it up and down and all over at least once a week. Its like having a really hot girlfriend, everyone checks her out and envies that you own her, and you constanlty have to spend money to keep her maintained and well groomed.
  5. ..their wooley as$es...
  6. I saw that car in the eastern suburbs, Melb. Its ok except for the tyres, they are really low profile and make the 17's look tiny inside the arches.
  7. Don't get me wrong man, I respect the dude out for helping another Toyota Owner out, but as mentioned by a few different people, it just seemed uncanny that BaByRaCeR had absolutley no luck tracking anybody down, and Marcus could do it same day.... If he had have mentioned that he knew some 'Asian contacts' then perhaps he should have explained himself. My apologies to him if I offended him in what I wrote, but he could have been a bit clearer... By the tone in his post, you'd think he worked with the guys from Typhoon... Cheers Aaron ← Thats just the thing Azza, you seem to want to know too much even if its got nothing to do with you. Marcus obviously knows the guy on a personal or business level, he did mention they will be moving back to their old premises etc etc etc, the thing is that this whole business is about BaByRaCer. Dont just put up posts for the sake of it, people might take it the wrong way. You have been doing alot of "demanding" lately not naming anyone other than Imek, so just relax and we will all be one big happy family. If there is something of your concern, then please feel free to voice your opinion but just make it purposeful. Im just saying this because in the past things got out of hand and there was a rift between members and i dont want to have all that crap again as we loose people posting, so thats why im making a fuss about nothing. Have a goodnight people, sweet dreams.
  8. Hey guys leave Marcus alone, he doesent have to explain nothing to anybody. he is obviously close to his Asian contacts and the car scene(even though he has an auto rolla :P :P )so we should be thankful for him to be able to help another fellow member. Thanx Marcus, its good to see some people are still around getting out of their own way for nothing to gain for themselves except for "respect". You got it :) from me.
  9. I think i hear a group buy for some clutches soon.
  10. Congrats Craig great time. Dont worry about us Vic boys im sure nino_leb has a few cousins down here with a quicker time than that :) . My question to you guys is, now that Craig has just managed to break the 15 sec pass with quite alot of mods to his car, would it be fair to say that the quoted q/m for the stock car of 16.1 is actually more realistic than what we all believed? PS: if you want a faster time, come down to calder raceway in a couple of months, its gona be freezing cold, i noticed you raced in 22 degrees temp with 71 percent humidity, thats not good man, id love to see you take the track in 10 degres or lower.
  11. The letters in the engine code of toyota's is to so with head design. The GE engine codes have the head designes at 65 degrees (I THINK) so they are wider than the others, so when you compare the 1zzfe with the 2zzge you can see the width of the 2zzge being wider from the angle design. the same applies with the 4age and the 4afe, the head of the 4age is wider. The reason for the angle is to allow the heads to breathe better and thus rev harder (I THINK). I read up on it ages ago, cant remember all the details. :P :P
  12. My TRD stickers faded soo bad i a year that now the red is almost gone, its al silver......from Autobarn
  13. Great stuff craig :) what were you dragging?? a soarer?
  14. About 2 weeks after the clutch adjustment, the clutch dropped back to a lower than before level, so i took the car in, as the clutch pedal was taking a while to come back up after changing gears while in lift, literally staying on the floor and i had to use my foot to push it back up from underneath making driving a bit dangerous, not to mention tight gear changes. Anyway, i take the car in, and the dealer offered a mechanic to drive it for me. The bl@@dy thing was fine that day wasnt it ;) so the mechanic said its all sweet. He tried to land in lift but couldnt manage 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd, dropped out everytime. The guy was an ex integra type R owner now a WRX owner. He believes the gearing is wrong for the stivo and that toyota deliberatly made it so that we dont stay in lift every gear for fuel consumption and reliability reasons, where as honda geared the car differently and stayed in V-tech all the time but was hard on fuel when driven hard. He also pointed that toyota detunes their cars by up tp 30% to maintain strong reliability. Anyway he ended with the clutch and gearbox to be fine and stated that "if there are gearbox issues with the synchros, you can tell when you downshift if it's hard to get in, as the car will increase in revs, not upshift where the revs drop". When upshifting, if it's hard to engage its most likely human error. I think thats crap, as a few days later the clutch pedal played up again. Now im thinking of taking it in to another dealer to see what they have to say about it.
  15. It kicks in at 6200rpm, contrary to people believing its 6000rpm.
  16. Oh Stewart, do you always have to talk about d!cks!!!! :P :P cant you get enough :D :P :)
  17. Hi Sunny_bill Welcome aboard. So far i have not had engine issues, and i dont think many of us had as long as youdrive sensibly, your engine should run fine, as for the CAI, any engine mods will basically void engine warranty, so keep the original air box on hand to replace it if something goes wrong.
  18. Im with you Egene, ive had my non genuine ones now for over a year and they are sweet as, cant say the same for the TRD sticker on the front grille, the red has faded shockingly.
  19. Well after i had mine readjusted, it did sit alot higher and the clutch enagged quicker However, i think it went back to its original condidion and i cant get smooth changes in high revs anymore. Back to mr toyota i think :(
  20. Maybe you need to get out the Porn dude!!!!!!! :D :D Peter North always gets them going
