Hi All,

Our next monthly meet will be in sydney on the 29th of Sept which is the last sat of this month.

So we are planning to meet up at the usual villawood spot at 8pm and either go from their or just hang out for a while.

Now this month it happens that its a long weekend so if we dont have much interest because of people going away and the fact that there are 3 other big meets by other clubs on the sunday let me know and we'll give this a miss ..... so please post up if your coming or not.

Here is a map of where we meet

I'm pretty sure i'm not going away anywhere, and seeing as i haven't even been to a proper meet yet, i think i'm definitely going to come to this one hopefully..

I'm sick of not coming out lol

hey bill i reckon we can change it to next week if everyones is ok with it. would be great to see northy's ride. or i just came up with a better plan. how bout we have 2 meets.

I'd love to come to a Sydney meet, but unfortunately the long weekend doesn't fit in with plans to take the wife to QLD for a extra long wekend holiday.

If you've enough people wanting to hook up the following weekend I'll be there for sure. It would be good to meet some of you guy's and gal's.

What's the norm after we meet at Villawood anyway?

Do we go for a cruise or something?

What time did things wrap up last time the meeting took place and where did you all go?

usually there till 9 or 10 discussing where we will go afterward. it's different every month :D although i wouldn't mind a drive to the city after to eat ice cream :P or perhaps some harry's hotdogs at livo or woolomoloo (spelling?)

i have a day off that day so we might try and come.

bec and sam will you have rylan? we might have to bring the twins.

corey i reakon you come a week early :P cause thats a long weekend for us :D

p.s. i will have the new TOCAU stickers with me that night. they are $10 each for those who want one.

oh and i have 2 more door sills to hand out ( KT and omar) would be great if u could make it. and dave i will bring the fuses. :D

there better be more people from here out there this year... it will be a MASSIVE show this year.

Last year there was around 60-70 cars ranging from full show cars so dedicated drag and race cars down to stockers and street driven sleepers.

Early estimates this year are that in excess of 100 cars will be on display.

i really wanna join toyfest but just didnt wanna be the only person there with a sportivo. so if there is gonna be a few people joining from ATOC then im definately gona be there. how many people gonna join it.

I was there last year with my old Sportivo. Was a popular car too narrowly missing out a couple of awards according to the judges.

was thinking about entering my car this year but well the car is back to stock besides the rims & exhaust. and not sure if she will be in my hands on the 30th

I was gonna come see you last night Sinan for another Kebab, but kinda got a bit too, well....let's just say that the beer at the Moorbank Sporto's was cold.... Will surely be down there for one again before I go home...

I'm not getting much time off during the day Dyl, mainly finishing up at 4:30 ish in the arvo. I may get Saturday arvo off too, but unsure yet....

      2011 Land Cruiser 1VD-FTV Engine Won't Start After Overhaul

      Hi everyone, I have a 2011 Land Cruiser VDJ200 with a 1VD-FTV engine. I recently had the engine fully overhauled due to a blown head gasket. However, after the overhaul, the engine is not starting. It only cranks but doesn't fire. I've checked the following DTC codes: Internal memory EEPROM error Low rail pressure The actual rail pressure data shows: 240 bar during cranking 61 bar when ignition is off Based on these findings, I suspect the following potential causes: =Defective Diesel High-Pressure Pump =Leaking Piezoelectric Injectors =Diesel Fuel Bypassing to the DPF Circuit =Faulty Injector Drivers I'm hoping for some expert advice to help diagnose and resolve this problem I'm seeking expert advice on how to troubleshoot and resolve this issue. Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

      Hey guys, I’m wanting to disconnect my current winch, lightbar and UHF as I have new plans. I’ve installed a winch previously on another car so I get it’s a case of following the cables and disconnecting from the battery, etc but but safety wise, should I start by disconnecting the battery so the cables aren’t live orrrr? And if so how do it go this haha?

      Snapping wheel and axle studs

      Put a set of standard wheels on it and your problem will disappear. It is critical that the hole in the wheel centre is a snug fit on the axle boss (without wheel nuts fitted). If your wheels are sloppy on the axle boss this allows excess force on your wheel studs and they will break, as yours are doing. If you are unsure of what to do, go to a reputable tyre shop and get assistance.

      2zz idle / roughness when accelerating past 3k

      Hey everyone was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction with this issue I've been facing for a while now. My Celica's idle will drop down to almost 200rpm when stationery after hitting operating temperature. Pretty much feels like it's about to stall out but never actually does. When taking off from a set of lights it almost feels like it hesitates or is down on power and then all of a sudden it lurches forward and gets a boost in power again. Then again around 1,500-3,000rpm it feels down on power and in what I can only describe in the engine feeling scratchy. Past 3,000 rpm it gets a little boost in power again but still definitely feels down on power compared to what it used to be and still has that roughness. Note lift is also not working at the moment but I have changed the lift bolts, planning on cleaning the VVT and VVTL-i OCV's New engine mounts have been installed I changed the MAF sensor about 4 years ago albeit not OEM. After doing some research my main ideas now would be a New MAF this time OEM, TPS, IACV or Coil Packs (Changed plugs 50,000km ago) Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! :)
