TRD AURION BODYKIT

Corolla parts are made in Japan so they're more expensive...

The TRD Aurion parts are made locally in Aus so they are much cheaper...

I can get the TRD wheels for around $800 or thats what my work tells me anyway...

Mate, if you can get the TRD Aurion wheels for $800, you might want to start a business selling the wheels to Toyota.

Fyi, wheels are from China, not made locally in Aus.

Also don't waste your breath trying to buy TRD Aurion parts from dealers, you won't be able to buy anything, not even a badge, unless you prove ownership of one, ie. Vin number.

maybe you could find someone who owns a TRD and pay them to buy the parts for you

As my aurion was rear ended about a month ago now, I had the smash repairer price up the TRD bodykit. By the front & rear bar is sprayed you will be looking at well over $2K for the front & rear. The bars themselves are about $700-800 each plus different mounting brackets, exahust modifications & the like. I think I will be leaving it standard for the moment.

I LIVE IN THE STATES AND HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THE TRD AURION BODY KIT OVER HERE FOR SOME TIME NOW. ALONG WITH THE TRD CALIPERS AND BRAKE PADS. CAN ANYONE GET A PRICE ON THESE PARTS FROM THERE LOCAL DEALER I HAVE TWO PEOPLE IN AUSSY RIGHT NOW TRYING TO HELP ME OUT. BUT I HAVE A VERY BUDGET CONTROLLING WIFE WHO WANTS TO SEE IF SHE CAN GET IT CHEAP... SO I DON'T END UP SPENDING ALL OUR MONEY. PEOPLE CAN ANYONE AT LEAST GET SOME REAL PRICES ON THESE PARTS?

steady with the caps :)

i think by the time u source all the parts, it would be cheaper to sell ur car and get a trd aurion..

Sorry about the caps didn't notice....but i would like someone to get me the prices on all of the above. The trd aurion is not imported to the states. So I would like to build my own here. I just need the final cost of all the parts...

I believe the brakes on the TRD aurion are PBR brakes, sourcing ones that have TRD on them is just going to add extra costs, look at buying PBR brakes themselves

making a TRD aurion out of a standard one would cost more then just buying one in the first place

$800 for bars is very reasonable, BA Xr6 bars are like $1300 new, well they were when my falcon needed a replacement!

I kinda hope Toyota do stick to there policy and only sell TRD parts to TRD owners, i'd hate to see a bunch of fakes getting around, especially badges, kits i dont mind to much and wheels, but fake badging one is a bit silly

Importing the entire kit to that states, if achievable is going to costat a very minimum $4,000 i'd presume, especially requiring headlights, front and rear bars, skirts etc + shipping

Thanks for looking into it but will TRD Aust. sell the kit?, and if it does what is the true cost? $4k is reasonable and i can get it shipped here for cheap my sister is an import export broker and can have it sent over. I just need to know ahead of time how much total I will be spending. I will pay the extra money for the TRD calipers. I want all TRD items. Thanks to everyone who has responded so far you've all been a great help.

salen - If the TRD Aurion body kit was that easy to obtain, I'm sure someone here would have posted the details... maybe even bought one. As far as the discussion in this thread goes, it would seem that you need to own a TRD Aurion to buy the parts. It's not something that Toyota would sell in general.

On a side note, SecaBoy found the following link:

http://tw.f4.page.bid.yahoo.com/tw/auction/d34526240

Not sure who would be willing to take the risk though.

I've been looking at that link at least every second day since Secaboy posted it. Soooooooooooooo tempting. But they dont ship overseas.

 :(

I had myself set to this topic for a while few months ago and was really desperate to get 1... But then, I got sick of it..

Anw, what I've been told from my dealer, u can purchase the TRD kit but it'll cost u tonz of money and i just dun think it's worth the price.. [i asked for a quote...Even the price of the grill shocked me...]

If u wanna know, PM me and i'll tell u which dealer i got it from...

To save money and trouble, I would just sell the car and buy a 2nd hand TRD Aurion. Apparently there will be a lot of them hitting the market soon, probably in the 30k-40k range. Then you'll not only get the body kit but also the other go-fast bits too. Rumour has it that the QLD police are ditching all their TRD Aurions within the next year or so because of the unacceptable torque steer during wet conditions.

Is the TRD Aurion Bodykit available from anywhere?

The rear bar would be nice to have.

If anyone has any sources & price lists to go with i would be very interested.
