Looks heaps better, now ditch the roof racks.

Had this discussion many times before,

roof racks are hard-bolted to the roof, so i can take them off, but it just looks plain bad.

Very happy with the condition of them, and makes the car feel so much classier and sportier.

and will be attacking them with the conditioner and cleaner this weekend, so it will look shmick B)

You've had panel work done to the bonnet, any reason why it can't be done to the roof?

That's his old bonnet, he had to buy a new one for the old Blitz kit he put on.

Besides, he likes the look; I don't think he is gonna take them off!

Hey all,

small update:

Got a set of 4 Brand New tyres on Saturday, since I was well overdue.

Federal 595-SS in 215/45/R17.

First thoughts are very aggressive profile for little money :D

IMAG0221.jpg

but love the grip I have now in both wet and dry :yahoo:

Posted

if you have grip in the wet with those tyres, you're not making enough power!!! time for turbo i say!!! :P

they're a great tyre in the dry, but as soon as it starts getting damp, bye bye grip!

Posted

well, i felt safer with these over the wet weekend compared to my previous 'racing slicks'

Posted

well obviously you're gonna have more grip compared to well worn tyres...

hell, you'll have more grip in snow too!

Went shopping at the wreckers on the weekend and picked up a set of front Power Windows for $70. Includes motors, switches and looms.

Also, I see no one realised I have new wheels, they are Rota D2 in 16". Got sick of paying heaps for 17s.

And its truely amazing how far I have come from the original charger to today... From 78kw atw to a massive 115atw! ;)
