I've looked on the net but there was no great deal of info. Just wondering if anyone had more luck and what is the recipe.

As in the stuff for your washers? Whats wrong with the additive you can buy from Supercheap?

I buy concentrated washer fluid from Repco. Recommended is 30ml per 1L on the bottle i use but i found that a bit weak.

I use a 2.4l fruit juice bottle to work out how much i pour in. I pour the blue concentrated washer fluid to the top of the pointy section at the bottom of the bottle and then top it up with water.

Yep buy mine at supercheap and put a little bit extra than the recommended dose as it is a little weak.

i use the "morning fresh" dishwashing liquid :3

a drop or two in a 2L Coke bottle, warm water (to dissolve quicker),

and viola, :D !

Just buy a bottle of cheap pH Neutral shampoo, and mix 1 part shampoo in 5 parts warm water. Shake a bit to fully mix then fill windscreen washer reservoir.

Alternatively, give a good 1 second squirt of shampoo into reservoir when it's empty, or up to 1/2 full, then top it up with water. It'll get mixed up nicely when you drive because of the twists and turns and bumps on the road.

Works for me, plus there's also the nice smell the shampoo leaves behind too. :D

VERY IMPORTANT : Make sure it's pH NEUTRAL shampoo. Acidic or alkaline shampoo will cause your windscreen wiper rubbers to perish prematurely. Use cheap shampoo, but NOT cheap AND NASTY.

I would highly recommend not using dishwashing liquid has it is much more abrasive than normal washer fluid. Your paint will not like it.

My patented method to filling up the wiper fluid

1) Connect garden hose to tap

2) Insert nozzle of hose into reservoir

3) Turn tap on

4) Turn tap off when reservoir is full

Why not just buy the ArmorAll windscreen wash. It is good for 5 reservoirs and costs less than a $10 bill

Yea I use that. Not too expensive and does a good job. Doesn't leave stains.
