  1. Pop over to Toymods and you'll find most of your answers
  2. At 12 I think my biggest concern was trying to beat my friend at Street Fight 2!! Also it was a time when Nike Air exploded onto the block and the war between Reebok Pump Vs Nike Air was all the rage.
  3. Its not hard to get it fitted guys, a bit of tools and few hours and you'll be fine!! If I can do it, anyone can!!
  4. Just waiting for a confirmed fitmet with the IM, take it easy on us Bill!! BTW my injectors have just arrived, only 440cc though. But now I'm having second thoughts again, as I'm about to get a EP82 for modding and finally start some proper track work .
  5. I'm pretty sure wearing any kind of slip on footware is illegal as it can become caught in the pedal, putting the driver and fellow motorist in danger.
  6. Have a look underneath your car, below the rear passenger seats. I suspect that it will be there.
  7. Sometime when defending yourself, you do have to know when to stop. Its definitely not when the guy has gone limp
  8. I'm sure someone could get one made up, but is anyone keen on doing R&D?? Being in the R&D department at work, sometimes a minor difference in design translates to a big difference in performance. I know that the guys in the US have dyno readings way higher then australia, but what I'm looking at is the difference between the numbers not the actual figure itself. So if the increase is 30hp, then its 22.35kw. So if they read 20% higher then it would be around 18.625kw or 25hp. Even then alot of other factors come into play, then again 3 more kw is not going to be that huge of a difference. Bill is probably laughing at this right now, squabbling over little increase in power I suppose the only way that we will find out the actual gain is when finally someone gets there hands on it over here.
  9. So I was wondering who is interested this new intake?? Its going to cost around $1800 or so shipped. Not sure on the price yet.
  10. Just checked out the post, and the damn 30hp at the wheels is insane, thats like another 20kw!!! I'm waiting for a confirmation of fitment before I make a friggin move!!
  11. Fighting a lost cause and in denial... *sigh* Yet somehow the government believe all this money will be re-invested into the economy?? This is an absolute joke if you ask me. Also if everyone thought the same then we wouldn't be in this disaster in the first place, people are scared/afraid which sometimes you just can't blame them. Poor job security and mortgages don't go hand in hand.
  12. Well I didn't like it as the constant buzz at 3500rpm really got to me on the highway. But the response is awesome, I say give it a go and if you don't like it, take it back out. Doesn't cost much and its really effective. My first impression was that it felt really really tight *no dirty thoughts please* Also I stalled my car constantly for about one day until I got use to it
  13. Keen on dyno, cause I'm a crap driver.
  14. Damn, didn't know the Aurion could do those type of times. What type of mods have you got? Corolla Sportivo is such a slow poke, time to spend more money.
  15. I say hit up UWS and then transfer after a year I have quite a few friends that did that, UWS-->UTS,SYD,UNSW * INSEARCH cost heaps more, 7500 a semester. My Eng degree at UNSW cost me 4000 a year, but that was about 5 years ago, I'm old. * There is the possibility that you can credit all your studies and enter uni as a second year student, depends on what course your doing at uni and how well you do at insearch. * You will graduate Insearch with a diploma, but certain courses will only be available based on your performance. Besides if you do well at first year uni, transferring shouldn't be hard at all. So why pay all that extra money to only possibly put yourself in the same friggin situation again?? Also going to uni, you will meet more friends etc and people doing different courses. First year uni is more or less just testing the water. I think out of all the high school friends that I still keep contact with, about 70% of them changed course after first year cause it wasn't what they expected or they didn't like it. I found this with alot of first year students. If your still not 100% sure what you are doing, go to uni and spend a year to find out. Rather then going to Insearch, then entering uni, then not liking it, then changing again. Wasting time and money. And if your not rich?? Not trying to be negative, and there is no such thing as paying parents back. Give them all the love that they deserve and I am sure it will keep them happy.
  16. Sure it will last longer then stock, but you are transferring more shock and impact to the rest of the car, but should be fine. Steering response would improve quite a fair bit, just how putting the energy suspension engine mounts gives your car much better engine reponse.
  17. Just go get a slip and then we will be able to see the potential of your car, it does seem quite fast though.
  18. You will absolutely love the CAI! Made the biggest difference out of all my mods, well maybe not the PFC
  19. Take it easy guys, let keep this debate cool... Well I suppose to answer your question to the OP, I don't think anyone knows of a place to get a better price. With regards to whether the CZ2's are better then a shock/spring combo thats up to everyones own personal opinion and needs. I'm pretty sure the CZ2's would be too stiff for me, but I'm soft. I've been in a car with CZ2's and I think they are a little too stiff. But then again, if the roads I travelled on most of the time were nice and smooth then I would be using my Teins (super wagon, which have been known to be soft) instead of my current setup. Have you got other suspension mods currently on your car??
  20. Back when the CZ2 were at a good price, maybe its worth it. But since the price has been blown outta proportion due to the poor exchange rate maybe you would like to rethink it for the time being. With $3500-$3800 to spend you could get something like this: Eibach Springs Pro kit $600 Koni Adjustables or FSD $1400 Installation $300 or for free if you DIY So thats about $2300 With the remaining $1300-$1500 left you can get Front Sway bar $240 Rear Sway bar $220 Front Strut bar $200 A set of nice sticky tyres for less then brand new for $800 (Toyo T1R's are at $180 atm) Now of course if you are tracking this car fairly often then stuff what I just mentioned above, that spring and shock combo is too soft for the hardcore track workout.
  21. Not to mentioned that I need to get it tuned as well, hence why I'm not so sure about porting the headers. It would make a difference if I stayed n/a, but... :D
  22. I'm looking at injectors at the moment though, not sure about wanting to port the stock headers.
