  1. You can run amplifiers to your stock unit. By memory, the front door speakers are 6.5" and riveted on. Personally I would purchase a new head unit. What is your budget?
  2. Check the bulb connector, use pliers to close up the connector contacts. As for the globe, pull the wire connection out for better contact.
  3. There are actually projectors kits for aussie market. a lot easier to install and no issues with black lines. I am using Gen 4.5 headlamp in my Gen 4 with the projector kit. not the best looking thing after completion but at least better than blinding everyone on the road.
  4. These camera are called car "black box". Recently I have trialled six different ones. When i get the chance, I may write up a review on these units.
  5. Try the last four digits of your VIN. Some dealers do have their own set radio code. Call them if that's the case.
  6. There are many topics reviewing Chinese all-on-one units. Should really try using the "search" function of the forum. There really are no "best one". It all comes down to personal preference. I do not like any of them at all

    fuel gauge faulty?
  10. Being an ex owners of a few different chinese all-in-one units, I do not like them :D Fun with all the functions, but cannot stand the poor sound quality...
  11. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php/topic/33712-2010-corolla-cigarette-fuse/ search function!
  12. "Lifetime Warranty" is purely for marketing, please read the fine prints. They do have strict criteria. When we repair and paint panels, the insurance company refuses to cover paint protection unless all the obligation of the paint protection certificate/contract have been met (because we all know paint protection is useless ). in relation to the ceramic clear, not all of the Mercedes & BMW have them factory, only the higher end ones...
  13. http://www.termpro.com/asp/pubs.asp?ID=113 Have a read of the above linked article. It is am old article but it will give you a bit of understanding on the how the amp(s) and other electrical may interfere with your FM/AM reception signals. There will be a lot of test and trials. Happy times :D :D :D
  14. A Drive are their budget line, try C drive or better. Fitted the C Drive on my brother's Volvo, definitely made a big difference
  15. Just curious, how much did the re-trimming cost you?
  16. I use Deltron PPG system at my shop and don't seem to have this problem... Are they using all PPG materials (primer, thinners, hardener, etc). I know some shops mix and match their materials, it can create problems. But, my guess... painter's issues :D
  17. At the moment, Bridgestones are at $390 each from Bob Jane T-Marts. Should try the Kumho KL21, been hearing good reviews. Haven't tried them myself yet.
  18. Personally I am not a fan of both Bridgestone and Goodyear. I find them performing bad in the wet. Try Michelin or Yokohama.
  19. That's no good... Do you have any photos? how bad is the chip? They are many possibility to why the paint would chip... Just to ask a few: How was the repeater lamp was removed? Paint material used? Workshop's workmanship (preparation to paint)? when you say "fresh paint" how long ago was that?
  20. Terry Shields Toyota do have one of the best parts interpreters though. Use them almost on a daily basis. Agree with you there with their car sales team. Weren't too happy with their services when I was inquiring on a new Corolla for one of my customer. Try Sydney Toyota, better sales team.
  21. Do you have amp(s) installed?
