  2. so who here speaks Czech to translate??????
  3. I call mine Tinkerbell, because she sprinkles the fairy dust at 6000 RPM and magically lifts me away to Neverland... that sounds sooooo funny after OZ's post too!!!!!
  4. I completely agree with both you guys, we need something SOON, the last try didn't work for all sorts of reasons but there is always the next time, maybe EGGs Echo christmas cruise would be a good one as I'm sure like me, this is not a great time of year for free time and too many cruises may just be that, too many.... On the other note about a Stivo club entering at next years Auto Salon, doesn't matter if you are stock as a rock, just clean it up and enter is what I think, we need to educate people on what a weapon these things can be, while still holding a sleeper status.....
  5. Nice work Jewce... Welcome... Those wheels are very scmick!!!!! :) :) :)
  6. My driving privilages return on the 8th March so after then will suit me fine..... Or else I'll have to bum a lift with someone else... But I'm keen as for this to happen :D I'm counting the days.... 2 down..... OH GEEEEEZZZZZZ.... how many to go???? 88???? you gotta be kidding me...... :P :P :P I'm missing Lift already!!!! How about some of the Qld ppl and the SA boys rock up too (maybe even those from across the Nullabour) and have the 1st annual Stivo Jamberee!!!!!!!
  7. It has the 1ZZ with TRD exhaust manifold and Remus exhaust, TRD clutch, TOMS' flywheel and he states he is looking for a Turbo for it... I hope Marcus sees this he may be able to fill in the details, but the exterior work is supurb!!!!!
  8. Kcorro's mate with the the widebody MR2 is featured in this 6 week period edition of SPEED. A grest read and some grest pics for those that are interested. Thorpy reakons this car is FULLY SIK...!!!!!
  9. Trying to find a trend here.... How many of the people with clutch issues have had the pedals changed to sports pedals???? I have, and I have clutch problems.... I don't think there will be a connection but it's worth a try...
  10. Yeah it's looking a bit horney if you know what I mean!!!!!
  11. And it's at Homebush isn't it, that would make the decision pretty easy then!!!! :P
  12. Here Here!!!! I've made my point known to Silva in the other post of this topic. Bottom line is that he did dynos before and after, improvements were measured and seen and it's all GOOD!!!!!! YAY to SILVA and CES for doing a top job; now to save a bit more $$$$$$ Dylan
  13. Richi I drive my car exactly as you describe, I only get 'spirited' with it every so often and get frustrated every time, so discourages me from doing it more... However under 'normal' driving conditions I have no dramas, only when I try and shift at higher RPM (>6K), and that is our biggest obsticle in this arguement, Toyota believes that because there are no problems in normal driving condition then there are no poblems. However Totota also believes that the engine is strong and can take repeated punishment in LIFT.... Our problem lies when you combine the 2 and try to use the engine to it's full potential but the gearbox will not allow you to do this.... Anyways, I'm with Zee, it's too much of a loss to sell the car now, plus it is still a great car to drive, it's just this one problem that bugs me.... Come On Mr Toyota, gimmie a clutch that works....... :( :(
  14. The torque curve on the Dyno Dynamics systems is purely an integration on the power curve anyway, so any improvements you see in the steepness of the power curve will translate into increased torque.....
  15. If you can only see from behind, look for a skirt and the pipe tip extension But it'll be off the roads for a few months on account of excessive speed (or at least me not seeing a posted change in speed zone, I mean what kind place drops straight from 100 to 60 with no 80 buffer in between)
  16. I see nothing wrong with the Dyno that Brendon posted, the values that are written can be read straight off the scale to the left of the graph, if people cannot read a graph to confirm this for themselves, that's their own problem. Unfortunately today people theink things have to be digital for them to be good, but still the most accurate readings are still by analogue means, at the end of the day it all comes down to the calibration of the instrument anyway!!!!
  17. Wasn't me!!!! I haven't seen this one but will be on the look out, I only know of one other Blue boy in Wollongong but this one wasn't it, unless he changes the plates....
  18. OM F'n G Northy..... You must have been punishing the beast
  19. As has been said many times before... the Celica does have this problem also...
  20. Even though it is not a monopoly, we are starved for choice in Fuels over here, look at Europe and Asia where there can be anywhere between 6-10 different companies to choose from. The same goes for the US but the fuel there is c**p anyway. But these day's I'm walking and cycling much more, and only filling the car up every 4-6 weeks regularly and topping up for cruises and tours occasionally. I agree with your sentiments though Zee, we should be looking at alternative energy, the oil will not last forever, and is not econonical (yet) to synthesize, but one day it will be sold at a premium price (it's still cheaper then bottled water people!!!!!) and who know's what will go on then...
  21. My box has 'issues' with both Optimax and Ultimate, so I'm still convinced it's the clutch... But now Ultimate is becoming more available with the phase out of LRP, a few more BP's here now have Ultimate available... :D :D :D
  22. Hey NIKICH welcome back, thought you'd fallen off the face of the earth. The changing cars was all done for the right reasons, and those that move on, moved on to better things, and look back on the stivos with fond memories.... But I'm with you, I'm hoping to keep the Stivo for a few years yet....
  23. If we can do that.... I am soooo there!!!!! I had a mate that went to the Port of Spain test as well as the Kingston one-dayers last time, had an absolute ball in the outer drinking beer with the locals, dancing to the drums and pretty much making an a**e of himself. Sounded like a great time to me.... :D
  24. It seams as though a deal has now been confirmed between Toyota and Jordan for the Jordan F1 team to run rebadged toyota engines next year (similar to the Sauber Ferarri deal) as a trade off to this, Our own Ryan Briscoe is rumoured to be the lead driver for the Jordan team, to get some race experience following 2 stellar seasons as a full time tester and the 2nd half of this year as the 3rd race weekend driver for the Panasonic Toyota team. Congratulations Ryan and we all hope you are able to push it with the big boys real soon. Plus it's great to get a 2nd Aussie in the main F1 field.... Now to promote James Courtney (though if I were him I'd be pretty happy driving the TOMS' Supra too)..... :P :P
