    I actually run Nulon premix. Distilled water is cheap and will have minimal; if any, impurities.

    I used Penrite 15W-40 oils from the first service I bought the car in 2004 and when I pulled the engine apart in 2011(to do some performance modifications), there was no sludge or signs of excessive wear with 201,XXXKM. In regards to the coolant, only use the red Long Life, not the Super Long Life and perform coolant changes every 40,000 - 60,000KMs. Nulon makes a good alternative to the OEM coolant.

    If you go to the Penrite website(and a few others), they have an oil finder based on vehicle type.

    99% sure that they are bonded with a sealant that needs to be heated to be removed.

    That's pretty normal.

    A rebuilt engine plus labour will probably push in excess of $5,000, but it will depends on the mechanic and parts prices.

    US ones also have the cutoffs that are incorrect for our roads. I am not aware of ones made for RHD, most people just retrofit them to suit.

    I'm not familiar with the setup on that vehicle, but it might pay to check out Youtube for videos on how to clean injectors on the cheap. It's not as good as having them ultrasonically cleaned, but it might get you out of trouble.
