  1. If you purchase a newer vehicle you can expect that, but not something that is now 12 years old. It might pay to install an aftermarket one.
  2. If it goes away with the air conditioning off, I would be looking at the A/C clutch bearing.

  4. The fix involves replacing the intake camshafts and some other components. Due to poor access to the rear cylinder bank, it requires the engine to be removed.

  9. Different matkets react differently to different vehicle designs, the Rukus is a good example of this. They are far more popular in the USA badged as a Scion xB.
