Exedy Heavy Duty clutch is looking to cost me around the $620 mark. Still sniffing for a cheaper price.

I haven't looked for a clutch in a while, but damn that's a rip off. Contact Silvabullit and see what deal he can get.

I'd guess maximum of $500 in labour. TerryO runs Road and Track at Ipswich if you want someone trustworthy.

Headed back down to Hobart to pick up the Aurion after having the front bumper resprayed. Job well done by the bodyworks. Finish looks good as new. Heres hoping it stays that way.

Downside... the bloody thing is covered in and full of dusty sh!t from the workshop. Good wash and interior detail on the weekend should take care of it. Why the hell can't panelbeaters put down plastic on your floor and seats, instead of trampling my mats and carpet with dust and crap?

Rotated and and got a wheel alignment.

I was sitting at a zebra crossing waiting for a lady to cross but I was resting my hand on the inside of the steering wheel and accidentally honked the horn and the lady jumped. I felt so slack but cracked up laughing at the same time.

cleaned up a mate's Subaru liberty Blitzen today, was badly swirled and neglected, but i think i got it a fair bit better. :P

steps taken:

1. Wash with Meguiars gold class shampoo

2. Clay with meguiars quik clay kit

3. 2 passes with Meguiars Ultimate Compound using DA polisher and 8207 pad

4. 1 pass with Meguiars Ultra finishing compound with Da polisher and 9007 finishing pad

5. 2 coats Meguiars NXT tech wax 2.0

(tires cleaned and shined with meguiars hot shine gel)

not bad, still a bit more work needs to be done IMO, front end and rear skirt needs a respray... was a WHOLE lotta car.. but makes me want a black aurion... so bad :( :P

Spent an hour replacing my HID bulbs. Damn the small space / my big hands. Was dizzy afterwards, an hour under the sun.

unique: I retract any previous statement I said about my car being clean. I was in well over my head. I vote -DAvo as having the cleanest Aurion around... without a doubt.

Haha. Really? Why is that?

And now you know why :P

On the topic of tyres, got some new ones for the new wheels :

Thems ain't no slicks but should do me plenty fine'.

Just a 'bit' wider. Not the best, not the worst, should be a good solid street performance tyre.

Installed my TWM base bushings to compliment my short shifter.

Can anyone say stiffness plus?

Got new wheels on! Yay! Pics after work...

Tyres are surprisingly comfortable as well, I was expecting the lower profile and sportier tyres to be much harsher then they are.

Washed her last night... looks super-clean now, especially after all this rain we keep having :P

Yay! Fail photo though... better pic when I get better light. Not enough room in my garage.

As is always the case... looks better in person.
