  1. Looking good - black always looks fantastic :D Although I could never own one, too much cleaning What are the next plans other than the Injen CAI?
  2. Very nice - love the colour! :D Enjoy the new toy
  3. Put petrol in it Hopefully the last sizable tank I'll need for a little while following my travels, only 130.9 down here for 91 unleaded too :) Car desperately needs a clean now though, especially inside
  4. grr.. these rats or whatever in the roof are making one hell of a racket tonight! Suggestions for killing methods other than traps and ratsak? (safe for renters lol)

it's most likely possums in the roof having a party up there. Just set up cage traps.

a M2 or M14 would be my first choices. Otherwise ratsak is fine if you are willing to put up with the smell if it dies between the walls or in a place you can't reach.

We think it might be rats Buff as the dogs have caught 3 outside - they are just too clever for the traps we have set!

I am liking the M14 idea :D But yes, copious amounts of ratsak will have to do it.

  5. Maybe I do... :P Hahah, if anyone ever spots me they are a legend
  6. Really??? Sure there weren't a heap of us but I think a fairly decent effort given 3 of us drove up, as opposed to just me and Guni who went to Sydney last year. It is a pretty large commitment to be able to travel that far for one, and we in Victoria understand this will be the case for Melbourne next year also. That said, there is some merit to the idea but I am with Lee and Steven, an annual publication would be most worthwhile and probably an online distributed PDF rather than a hard copy magazine. It would require a lot of contribution from many different members but could certainly be achieved, its sounding a lot more like a year book really. There are certainly a lot of people on here with different skills and different expertise, so we could come up with something great :)
  7. Alright its set then this meet will be Saturday the 30th July! This way we can all go to the yummy Garage Cafe again :D Based on the numbers I'll make a booking - unfortunately Saturdays they are only open from 5pm to 10pm, so the tentative plan at this stage will be to meet up somewhere in the early afternoon, take pictures and then drive to the Garage Cafe and chill out for the evening :) Edit: First post has been updated, what does everyone think of Albert Park Drive car park as a meet-up location at 2pm? Then can take pics there or further around the lake, under Bolte bridge etc - anyone who knows some good city locations throw the ideas in. Dinner will be booked for 6pm (Garage Cafe opens at 5pm). After dinner is free for whatever :)
  8. Fair enough - I can't ever remember doing anything for uni on a Sunday! mate... EVERYONE is welcome +1 to this, everyone is welcome no matter the car/model/condition, we love to see all Toyota's :) And we even have friends along that do not own Toyota's. Love the ideas for the Garage Cafe but unfortunately as has been mentioned it is not open on Sunday's :( We could make the meet a Saturday instead as an exception to the rule if everyone wants to go there again. Definitely want an indoor venue as Dorifto mentioned for the weather! And we could bring a cake for your birthday :D
  9. Great pictures everyone :) Thanks very much for sharing - I have been lazy and need to look at mine and see if any are worthy of posting!
  10. Uni commitments on a Sunday?? Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but keeping with the tradition of the last Sunday of the month that'd make the meet-up Sunday the 31st of July. I can't do it the Sunday beforehand and any earlier is probably a bit late notice given we're nearly at the end of June. My tentative plan at this stage is meet-up somewhere like Albert Park as we have been there before, short drive to a restaurant/cafe nearby and then I thought we could go and do photos in front of the shed under the Bolte Bridge etc as a bit of nostalgia - been a long time since that meet! I will be going back through some of our old meet threads to check out locations we've met at before etc for some inspiration, but feel free to PM me some ideas for restaurants/cafes and photo locations :)
  11. Hey Lee, good stuff, pretty much along the lines of what I am thinking, try and meet up somewhere central-ish and then go somewhere, just need to pick the places :) That way we all get to catch up with each other seeings its been a little while, debrief after the annual and hopefully get a couple of new members along in what is a more gentle introduction.
  12. Yep there'll definitely be a meet-up in July, looking at this stage to be the last Sunday of the month and probably just a BBQ get together style one, I'm not quite back in Victoria yet after the annual so once I'm back and settled in I will get cracking with the planning :) If anyone has some suggestions for a great park/meeting point we can sit and eat, even a snazzy cafe or restaurant I would love to hear from you ;)
  13. They do, cause i did it already, the stuff should be here after the long weekend. Ooo.. Shouldn't have told me that lol Now I have to go shopping on Amazon again!
  14. Some beautiful pictures there from yesterday Michael - I have pilfered the shot of me standing next to the car for my new Facebook profile picture :D Please thank Blake as well for his photography efforts, I can't wait to see what you and the others have snapped from today!
  15. had an absolutely fabulous time this weekend at the TOCAU Annual, meet some lovely new people and caught up with 'old' friends too :D Bring on next year!

thats great to hear! :) whats that a tassie road trip next year :P

  16. Hey all - I'm sufficiently stuffed after today, I had an absolute blast :D Sure the cruise wasn't perfect, but none of them ever are ;) Agree with Andrew though in that it was all handled well and we all looked out for each other. Special shout out to Steve, my gold Aurion cousin, as we seemed to be the support crew for the day Go karting was great fun, I don't get to do it very often and I had a ball - apologies to anyone who copped an incidental bump from me but I think we all got even in the end :D Looking forward to checking out all of the photos and vids, I didn't take many so will have to see if there are any worthy of putting up. Once again a big thank you to all the QLD'ers, it was great to see you all again and I look forward to Melbourne for next year's annual, I will make sure it is a cracker :D Starting my travels back tomorrow (taking my time again) so will be heading back down to the cold Not that it has been particularly warm up here either!
  17. US Ebay seller heheh - he doesn't list international shipping on the Ebay listing, so you've just gotta contact him and then he makes them up and sends them over. $56 for the eyelids and shipping here :D Had them painted and fitted them this morning, I think it looks alright, will take me a bit to get used to it I guess!
  18. The microfibre waffle weave towels actually work quite well (though I don't know about the one above) - Meguiars have their "Water magnet" towel which is pretty good, but its only small in size and does get quite wet pretty quickly, though you can dry the whole car with it (not that I do often as I am lazy ) Then just chuck it in the washing machine and wash it like you would your other car cleaning cloths, I use hot water and a bit of white vinegar.
  19. Meguiars Ultimate Compound may achieve the results you want, but just be aware it is a more aggressive product, so less is more and go slowly with it, the more you use and the harder you rub then you start really getting into the paintwork and at that clear coat. Look up the Meguiars channel on YouTube, there are some good videos on using it.
  20. When did Amazon start shipping Car Care Products? Shopping Spree coming up. How long did it take for the products to get to you? They don't :( We used a go-between guy in the US to get them here, so buy them all, get them shipped to them, pay for shipping over here. It was probably a good month the last time, but it was worth the wait :D Hyper dressing did an amazing job in my engine bay, as well as the wheel arches and all my black trim
  21. One sweet looking Aurion :D Every addition you make just improves on it even more Love the paint for the rear badge, only thing that 'bothers' me is that you need something under your RH tail light to go with the 'Aurion' badge, looks kind of uneven with that one badge there. But that's just me :) The photos of it are great too as per usual, wish I had the same skills when it comes to photography!
  22. Hey, nice Camry :) I am not 100% on the wheels but they suit your ride and the look you want. Any more plans for the future? Already got a pretty decent list happening there

    Aurion On Air

    Looking gooooooooooooooooooooooooood :D
  24. Hi and welcome :) The B Boss wheels work powder coated in black, and black always looks good on white :D Love the interior lighting too, those SMD's make the world of difference.. I really really need to try and do some footwell lighting in the Camry. What's next for the Aurion?
