  1. Being an ex auto parts interpreter (API) I have sold many Polyurathane bushes of varying brands. Nolathane is one of the first and better brands. Positive feed back had been similar for many makes of cars. Polyurethane bushes do help in suspension control, cornering, braking ect but they also firm up the ride of the vehicle a little. Need to be installed correctly using the lubricant supplied with them. Many customers started with bushes on front or rear sway bars as they are usually easy to access then, after having good results went on to install more involved suspension bushes. Most Polyurethane bushes are long lasting and trouble free.
  2. Why not use a broker without committing to them, just to se what discounted pricing they can show you. Then use that pricing as a guide to do your own negotiations directly with a dealer.
  3. I have spotted this... I know you don't need the references to swapping out the steering wheel but there is relevant information regarding your issue in here. https://www.toyotanation.com/threads/i-added-paddle-shifters-to-my-2015-toyota-camry-xle-v6-and-it-worked-heres-a-guide-on-how-to-do-it.1664644/ As described in this above post, have you tried to change gears via the new paddles with the shift lever in sport mode ?
  4. I doubt that any dealership would be involved in your modification. You possibly would pay for a service advisor to say to you "we don't do that modification" Have you searched through all the postings to find the same modification ? You mention you know of others having done this have you questioned them ?
  5. Or Ebay search for something like this.... Universal Trunk Cargo Storage Bag Folding Organizer Box or try https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Universal-Trunk-Cargo-Storage-Bag-Folding-Organizer-Box-Saddlebag-for-Jeep-Ford/202748771853?hash=item2f34c4be0d:g:nF8AAOSwz5peAs0Q
  6. 7. Well presented review however, I do not want to see so much of the presenter. I research vehicle reviews for the all the visual details. All I want to see are the cars with voice over not so much of the reviewers face & animated actions.

  9. Maybe a BSC outlet or similar can match and upgrade the gears. They supply power transmission parts like gears, bearings, seals ect.
  10. Just to be clear the engine never actually failed it just stopped running at the time then restarted afterwards ?

  13. Or perhaps modify the TCR10 bar fit ?
  14. Is the Tarago currently unregistered or just changing owners ? Most workshops know where to look for vehicle ID's. What is missing the VIN plate or the compliance sticker or another ? Perhaps your Toyota dealer could be of help for you.
  15. Glad the family is enjoying the new Rav. Hopefully the annoying rattle issue is resolved at service time. I like the concept / size ect, but still cannot come to grips with CVT gearboxes.

  19. Nope, mine are mounted just to the left of the rear view mirror, high up. The driver cannot see the camera from the drivers seat so no vision is obscured by the device.
  20. I found these, not exactly what you need but interesting info.. https://www.toymods.org.au/site/ try searching here for swaps. also https://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/36258-hiace-engine-swap/
  21. I read this in GoAuto in May this year ..... Toyota spokesman said....While Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support will be progressively rolled out as standard equipment, owners of the current-generation Corolla small car and Camry mid-size car, as well as early adopters of the new RAV4, will be able to have it retrofitted. The Japanese brand said the retrofit will be available via its dealer network with only a “quick visit” to a local dealership required to have it installed.
  22. From new I had a 1978 HiAce 5 door and stupidly never lifted the engine cover to service it correctly for 120k kms. Boom it seized ! Back in the day, 1979, the were no Jap imports engines ect. So I replaced it with a Holden 202 6 cylinder mated to the original gearbox (using a Dellow adaptor ) She went really well but the diff ratio was too low so i fitted 16" wheels (taller tyres) to the rear to compensate. Terribly award to work under /around the engine area. Today I am sure there a a zillion easier engine / transmission alternatives to use.
  23. No not a Rav4, but in both my Camry's, the cameras are mounted passenger side of the rear view mirror. They are not visible from the drivers position, the wiring is tucked in along roof lining then into the rubber on the A pillar, across under the glove box into the usb pods i have installed. I am using Viofo A119S cameras, very compact units.
  24. The PCD is the same as Falcon however the bore size is different . Toyota has 60.1mm and Ford has 73.1mm. Therefore you would need to run with concentric spigot / hub rings to reduce Falcon 73.1mm down to Toyota 60.1mm. I would suggest using steel or alloy but avoid plastic / nylon. Never fit and drive your car without using the spacer rings. Dangerous and unsafe !
  25. The PCD or stud pattern is 114.3. The 1.5 is the thread metric pitch. Offset / ET will be 45. The tyre size you choose will be most important to having adequate clearance in the wheel well to avoid suspension & guard contact If you have an 2019 ASV70 Accent Sport your original wheels should be running. 215/55R17 7.5Jx17 ET45 5x114.3 M12 x 1.5 60.1 The 2019 ASV Camry SL runs 235/45ZR18 8Jx18 ET50 5x114.3 M12 x 1.5 60.1 You will notice the offset /ET changes to centre the wheel / tyre in the wheel well for clearance.
