Hey all, just thought id let you know got engaged on saturday, all went to plan.

i had organised with 2 friends a big scam back in July and culminated on the weekend, basically fiancé (seems wierd writing that) thought we were going into crown casino sat for the night as our friends had scored free accomodation from Jetstar as compo for getting really stuffed around on last OS trip and they invited us to stay with them.....Proposed at home, which was great as she was thinking to herself........how not romantic can you get, then took her to maccas for lunch :) :) can tell she a little annoyed but over the moon re. bling on her finger, she just thought i was scamming in on the free weekend etc.....Then we rocked up to the Stamford Plaza in melbourne...id setup the full works with bottle of moet, canapase, choc dipped strawberries and music playing in room on arrival etc.....then took her to dinner at The Press Club in melbourne....had the 9 course symposium...great meal....then room service breky next morning and late checkout....came off perfect with no hiccups.........best part was playing her the whole time and her actually saying "your not very romantic are you" that happened at maccas :) little did she know what was happening later on :)

so yeah all done, doesnt really change anything as been together just off 6 years......guess its a step toward what lays ahead.

cheers

bling - platinum, princess cut main diamond (.51c), then 1 baguette (.30 total c)either side of central princess and 1 smaller princes cut (.12c total) next to each baguette in a channel design, G color on all diamonds, ideal cut and SI clarity.....really happy with it....about 1carat total weight.....best part is the platinum...doesnt scratch, stronger and will never need replating like white gold. I designed it and got Michael Wilson Jewelers in Eltham (Melb) to do it for me, tried Vic Diamond traders and Aus diamond company but they were hopeless, basically i told then what i wanted, said what my max was approx so of course quote came to my max.....gay as....Michael Wilson on other hand...great to deal with with personal service and very well priced etc.

now time to research a ppl mover..........lol......jokes.....think ive decided no new car for me until i have fully payed off the sportivo...well close enough to fully.....then that awful predicament of finding the right car.....from the vid above a nice STI tuned liberty would be nice although they are hovering at around the 50k for a fair new one.....still the caldina is a nice choice but has age against it....warranty would be nice on a purchase

Red Rooster would be my recommendation as they are less packed than KFC... :P
