First Lexus LFAs unpacked in the States

Recommended Posts

Oh the envy. If I was someone who ordered one of them, I would so be asking for it to arrive to my door or the local dealer in the container.

Yeah, but the car has to be prepped when it arrives in the States and there are only a handful of Lexus techs who are educated to do that. I don't think I would want the guys at my local dealership doing it. (No offense to them, one of my good friends works in the service department at Lexus of Portland)

Well in that case then, send the specialist to the local dealership with the container

But then again, if it were me, I just wouldn't care if it could only go to one specific place. Just having the car would be the excitement.

haha - some of those blokes don't really give the impression of "specialist technicians".

Lots of special treatment. Granted a very nice car but IMO that treatment goes overboard with extra care.

It kinda reminds me of the Audi R8.....

Hopefully it doesn't overheat after 4 laps like the R8 :P

Over heats After 4 laps... man thats not bad for a 300K car... :P

Hopefully the Lexus can do alot better :)

It's funny how people raged on and on that the car would be a major flop yet every one of the 500 LFA's were sold, including 8 to Australia.. LOVE the engine note too! (Yamaha tuned the acoustics of the intake FYI)

How do you know there were eight sold to Australia? Can you link the source?
