Has anyone tried the new Shell fuel efficient formula. For the first time I've now switched from 98RON to 95RON to try out and see if the claims are true, I'll let you know once I use a tank full.

NSW!!!!!

i just filled up petrol just then......................$1.14 a litre.

i hope the recent drop in petrol prices is a new permanent thing.

we filled 2 cars (the toyota spacia van- which was empty and the stivo - which under half a tank) and only paid $89!!!! this is a great change.

how about all the other states?............how much is your petrol at per litre right now?

so the moral of the story is go put petrol while it's still cheap!!!!

thats great!!! i really hope the price does get back to $1.00 a litre by christmas.....it would make for a good summer being able to afford the 2 hours drive to get to a nice beach..........hehehe. i think a majority of sydney's beaches are too polluted to swim in........ehehhe but thats another story / thread. hehe.

i love the clear waters and white sands of the beach's down south from the woolongong down to batemans bay!! that's well worth the drive for a good swim.

how about in VIC, ACT, SA AND WA? how much is ur petrol there at the moment?

It's about 1.15 in Perth for unleaded.

I think the petrol companies are trying to annoy Al Gore.

Or was it that people started looking for alternatives in a massive way even buying economical cars. Or was it talk of Peak oil......... conspiracies theorists would suggest…..

lets do a group buy on 1000L tanks...............i'm in TOM!!!

Apparently there has been a new reserve of oil found somewhere in the world that makes the mid-east supplies not as important, hence why the pricing has plateau'd.

I understand that if pricies were to increase past $1.20 anytime before Christmas, then this will probably be seen as profiteering.

The initial predictions is that fuel will actually keep going down to under $1.00 per liter within the next 2 months.

I stand corrected if anybody can show me anything other than this...
