  1. Just don't take fast right hand corners... This was a very well maintained car, so as I said, don't push it too hard.
  2. I doubt it will be helpful 2 years later. Please look at the dates on posts.
  3. Splice. They need to be connected still. No to be rude, but these questions make me think you are not very confident in attempting this modification. You should probably reconsider attempting this yourself and have a professional or a generous forum member within your locality assist. You could potentially cause damage to your vehicle if you get it wrong and no one wants to see that. All of the liability falls on you to perform it correctly.
  4. There could be an issue with the gauge or a relationship between the senders and the gauge. Were the sensors genuine? Have you check that the sensors are functioning correctly(e.g. pulling to ground or closing the circuit)using a multimeter?
  5. Yes. Splice = Connect, it's an electrical term. If there are wires in the F8-15,16,17 connector pin slots, you can use them, if not then you may need to source the pins/connector from a wreck.
  6. Theoretically Communism works, but we won't go any further into that. The only thing that matters is real world performance and economy. You could run an few tanks through to get a more accurate result. Unless you drain the tank entirely, you will still have 10+ litres of existing fuel in the tank, even with the fuel light on.
  7. Welcome. Maintain it really well, don't push it too hard and it should last.

  9. If you haven't already, join up to the other 86 owners clubs out there as well. There is not a huge following here due to the specified forums, so you may not receive the answers you are after.
  10. Ah ok, I didn't realise it was a rebuilt engine.
  11. No. They would be fairly heavy. I have a set of 17's as spares and they are quite heavy around 10kg.
  12. Drivetrain loss will be about 10-15%. The power figure you are quoting is at the flywheel of a stock 2ZZ-GE. Is lift engaging?
  13. The E10 probably cleans carbon deposits as good, if not better.
  14. To keep it simplified. I believe Ethanol is the reason. It burns cleaner and is cheaper, but it requires a larger amount. E85 is proof of this point, using up to 30%+ per tank. It is used in performance applications and with correct tuning can make a massive power increase.
  15. Get the codes read. It will help with identifying the issue and why the CEL is on.
  16. Does your Owner's/Service Warranty Manual or Audio Manual have anything in it? From memory, mine(2013 SR)is on the delivery card.
  17. You really have 3 basic choices then, throw more money at it, live with it or sell it.
  18. Have you consulted an auto electrician?
  19. You may have to take the leap and test some softer suspension in it. Comfort and performance are mutually exclusive in a car at the Aurion price point. If you wanted silence, the sports model was probably not the best choice.
  20. Matt & 2008ZR6 Is it tyre noise or wind noise that you are concerned about the most?
  21. Have all of the vacuum lines been checked for damage/melting? It sound like the emissions controls could be limiting fuel flow.
  22. I'm on the tall end of 6'3" and had no issues with our GSV40 Sportivo and I had no issues with the seat lowered, even with a helmet on.
