  1. I would buy a jump pack or some jumper leads if I was you in the meantime.
  2. If you modify where the mount bolts up to, then it makes replacing engine mounts an off the shelf item.
  3. I had this issue with our ZR6. I trialed turning the switch off overnight and didn't have any further issues for the next 2 years before selling the car. Not saying it will have the same result for you, but it's worth a shot.
  4. Do you leave your headlight switch ON or in the AUTO position?
  5. I haven't done any comparative testing; however, I have never had a failure. That's also not a bad price, considering how many kilometres you will get from them.
  6. Probably Bosch as they are a little easier to source. I'd use any of ones I mentioned above though.
  7. I have a preference for Denso(OEM manufacturer) as I've never had any issues and they are reliable, even when changing heat ranges(performance/modifying related). They are quality made plug, but can be hard to find in stores and can be a little on the pricey side. If you search hard enough you can find good deals. Any of the big brands will be fine though, NGK, Champion or Bosch.
  8. I thought as much. It probably would have made the biggest difference. How far off your goal figure is it currently?
  9. What was the cause? You should see what some massive horsepower cars do then.
  10. How have you found performance? I've also moved this into the Members Rides section.
  11. The porcelain on the spark plugs will give a reasonably good indication. If it is still vibrant white, there is a good chance they were replaced.
  12. Consider purchasing one of these manuals. You can find them cheaper and also used on eBay. I have one for each car that I own. Even though I have quite a lot of experience, it still fills the void regarding specifications and difficult processes. http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/Product/Toyota-Aurion-2006-13-Gregory-s-300/SPO3144036
  13. Please follow the link below and read the Buy and Sell Rules carefully before posting.
  14. Have you tried calling around wreckers or looking on eBay/Gumtree yet?
  15. Probably the wrong one. You can take some measurements to confirm though.
  16. I always buy when cheap as I service 5,000km/6 monthly. I normally have a few spare filters and some oil sitting around. As Hiro said, you are guaranteed to use it, providing you are maintaining the car correctly.
  17. It actually has nothing to do with your floor. Dipsticks do not reach the bottom of the sump. There are normally a few litres of oil once there is no oil on the dipstick. Many dipsticks do not even take the reading from the deepest part of the sump where the oil pickup is located.
  18. The Buy and Sell Rules have been updated to allow for the following: Any member may now sell an item within the for sale section, regardless of time as a member or post count. Any member may now sell a private vehicle within the Toyota's For Sale section, regardless of time as a member or post count. Traders are reminded to follow the correct channels listed above. These rules are subject to change at any time without notice.
  19. Edited title and moved to the correct sub-forum.
  20. Do not use HIDs for high beams, LEDs will be fine If you decide to run HIDs and haven't already read it, please read this thread.
