  1. That's a completely different model, there was no mention of raising it and the rims the OP is enquiring about are 5 stud which suggests that is it a commercial sedan height ute rather than a lifted ute as they are 6 stud.
  2. I believe Brakes Direct stock an sell QFM pads. Might be worth contacting them.
  3. Your road laws should dictate that information as it varies from state to state.
  4. Have tried any wreckers? I believe Toyrolla Spares are down that way.
  5. Let's pretend this never happened. 🙄 Welcome.
  6. You could try grabbing some Gen 3 brakes from a wreckers and test fitting. From memory, I think the ST185 Celica brakes may have fit, but that was ages ago. I will get a mate to comment.
  7. Performance must be amazing, considering the video focused on the turning circle. 😂
  8. This sounds a little like lazy guess work. I would get a second opinion, without giving that mechanic any indication of what the first said. It could be bearing related, but hard to tell without a tear down/oil sampling.
  9. I have compiled these posts into one new topic. Please use this topic instead of 2 separate old posts. Thanks.
  10. Just because people aren't commenting, doesn't mean they aren't interested, it may mean they have nothing to contribute. If you have that attitude when people read this, it will more than likely make them less interested in the future. There have been far more extensive builds done here, that have received way less comments than they deserve, but that's the luck of the draw.
  11. Rip it out, spend that money on an Android based aftermarket one and never pay for maps again.
  12. Trust me, you won't get judgement from me for spending money on a Camry...so long as it's done tastefully is the only caveat. Even then, it is still your car, do what you think looks best.
  13. Run the bushes that came with it, they will be fine. Any time you increase performance, it is likely that you will decrease comfort. That is a trade off that you need to be aware of when modifying. Provided that you lubricate the bushings as directed by the manufacturer, you shouldn't end up with increased noise. This is generally a myth left over from the early days of poly bushings.
  14. You might be better off going to a pick and pull wreckers if you have one local. Buying new will probably cost you more than you paid for the car.
  15. The original post was made over a year and a half ago. The OP hasn't logged in since it was posted. Please check dates before posting. Closed.
  16. Welcome. I also use http://www.newhilux.net quite often as well.
  17. It could also be a complete coincidence, so don't rule that out. The other thing to check, would be if anything was disconnected in order to gain access to the starter. This is a long shot as it should all be contained within the dash.
  18. It may be related to the battery being disconnected when they were changing the starter motor(assuming they did so). You could try changing it over to manual mode or disconnecting the battery again and seeing if any difference is made.
