  1. Technically most modifications are illegal, just don't draw attention to yourself and get caught.
  2. Twin piston calipers as can be seen in the photos above.
  3. Trade in price guide is $500-$2000. Your negotiation skills will determine how close to the high end you can achieve.
  4. You need the Toyota Nation forums. Toyota Australia did not produce the Tacoma. This is a Corolla thread on an Australian forum.
  5. You have missed the safety steps: Always have a fire extinguisher handy. Disconnect the harness then start the car to remove fuel and fuel pressure from the lines. I also loosen the fuel cap. Disconnect the battery. Keep all heat sources well away and avoid static clothing. You will also need to source all o-rings and pump seals within the filter/pump assembly. If you do not, then you will risk hard starting issues. Ignore at your own risk. You will very soon see that it is far more fiddly and time consuming than you were expecting.
  6. It has a filter and you don't need to use 20L. Toyota don't design these to be changed, but it is an absolute must. The search function will show results of this. campbeam will most likely chime in and agree with this as well.
  7. They won't do it. The don't perform performance upgrades/unauthorised modifications. No, you need 17's.
  8. Depends on your ability and no, quite a bit longer.
  9. An uphosterer can repair it. Tell your dealer that you want to keep the plates and they can organise it. They aren't worth much anymore regardless of condition. Dealers will give far less.
  10. Moved to correct forum section. Please provide more detailed information of when this is occurring.
  11. Regardless of the model number, the files may be the same.
  12. Does it still do it if you put the originals back in?
  13. You will need to tee off an existing fitting using an adapter. You will need the original thread specs and a visit to Pirtek, ENZED etc. should yield a solution.
  14. Oh, I know... My Camry has a 5S-GTE(3S/5S franken engine) in a 1280kg chassis(inc. engine), with LSD. Nice sleeper build though.
  15. You may be one of the first. Not a lot of modifying goes on with the Hybrids.
  16. I don't have a stock one to compare it to, so I have no idea how long it is to start with, to add the 1/4". I also have no idea what the diameter is.
  17. I don't have an original to compare it to. I would potentially use it in a different application.
  18. Prime example why I prefer jumper leads. If the jump pack is old and tired or has a low CCA, it will struggle.
