  1. They have the same specs to comply with OEM requirements. You will be fine to use what you have.
  2. One topic is enough, please don't post multiple on the same subject.
  3. With that being said, Penrite have now replaced their pink coolants with the red 8 year products. Nulon have also extended their red range to 8 years, so it should be fine as well now. This change must have occurred in the last few months.
  4. Do not use the Nulon Red (LLC) in place of pink SLLC. You will need to use Penrite if you do not use Toyota genuine.
  5. I'm 6'3" and I still can't see the front of my bonnet on my Gen 3. You just get to know know the size of your car. You can buy markers that stick and clip on of you are that desperate. The other option is cameras or sensors.
  6. Nulon and Penrite red/pink coolants are perfectly safe to use in replacement of LLC and SLLC.
  7. It's obviously not ideal, but given the age, you may not have a lot of other options.
  8. I don't think you understand just how busy mechanics get at this time of year. It may not be as simple as you think and may require a large amount of diagnosis.
  9. Are there enough decent teeth to remove and rotate the flywheel?
  10. Is the noise from the front or rear of the vehicle? As Tony said, you need to do a lot of searching and isolate it to a specific area. Otherwise take it to a mechanic.
  11. Could be a ball joint as well. Does it do it at all in Drive?
  12. The car is not moving in the video from what I can see, what are the exact conditions? Are you braking? Are you moving the steering wheel? Is it in reverse? Is the park brake applied? Please elaborate further when asking questions, so that it makes it easier for people to try and help you.
  13. I have only just seen this post. If I had seen it earlier I would have directed you to mr2 who is a member here and also a locksmith. Mr Minit is not a locksmith.
  14. 1. The video is private, you need to change it to unlisted. 2. I doubt it has anything to do with your consumption issues.
  15. Why did you not just see an automotive locksmith? Toyota knows less about their 10+ year old cars than the independant guys.
  16. They should be the same. Grab one from the wreckers and get a refund if for some reason it doesn't fit.
  17. You may struggle as they are so new, so very few will be written off without front end damage.
  18. The reason I asked is the 3VZ is notorious for spitting head gaskets. You will need to get them ultrasonically cleaned and flow tested. There is a good chance the fuel has gummed them up from sitting for so long. There are also mobile injector cleaning businesses, depending on where you live.
  19. Depending on how long it sat, the injectors could be stuck open. How certain are you that it is definitely fuel on the plugs?
  20. Have you had a look under the dash at all? I would be highly surprised if that had anything to do with the service, I think it is purely coincidental that it occurred at the same time. Check to see if it is coming from the switch, spring or pedal pivots. Also pay attention to the rod that comes through from the booster, the jam nut may have come undone.
