  1. You don't have to call everyone Mr. Back on topic, you could do the oil cooler steel line for around $110-120 delivered using Amayama.
  2. Yep, just make sure style and colour are the same, as some models vary between trims.
  3. Did any debris end up in the line?
  4. It depends if you ever want to remove them again. If not, an epoxy should do the trick.
  5. Above all disconnect the battery and remove any form of ignition source. Also have a fire extinguisher handy.
  6. Whilst the pan is off, get a drain bung welded in as well. It will make changes far cleaner.
  7. There would be a lot of cost involved from scratch, especially buying the components. For most people it is an unrealistic goal.
  8. Battery can be replaced and you can also pick up the cases only on eBay.
  9. You did not ask a question. You might have better luck on http://www.newhilux.net as it uses the same engine.
  10. You need a compressor and a leakdown test kit to do the testing yourself.
  11. 4 cylinder is the SDV10 or SXV10. 1995 was the changeover year. The body shapes remain the same and should share any aftermarket components between the SDV and SXV. 6 cylinder is the VCV10. The VCV10 also shares the same body shape and most components should be interchangeable. The exact information can be found on the compliance plate at the rear of the engine bay on the firewall.
  12. In that case, you should try a big turbo car. Nothing throws you into the seat the same(yes I have had a supercharged car).
  13. Not sure about the turbo, but the N/A version that I drove for work was terrible. About 450km per tank. Luckily it had a sub-tank, which pushed it to 700km for a total of 120L of fuel.
  14. Coilovers are almost nonexistent for them. You may need to settle for lowered springs and shocks. Alternatively you could get custom ones made, but that isn't cheap by any means.
  15. If the timing is retarded too far it can cause it to overheat.
